So after the slow start Pulisic has been doing well then? Dortmund looks like a mess right now though. 2-1

Pulisic definitely turned it around after the first few minutes and ended up having one of the better half’s on the team. Defense is getting beat too often.

I haven't seen to much ridicule of Puli except here. Yarmo can not track back not fast enough, nor is he fit enough for that.

Pulisic needs to play more central. Swap him and Gotze. All the offensive threat came from him. Not everything comes off, but enough that he should have gotten at least one assist. Yarmo channeling his inner wondolowsi.

I think the game has more goals in it, but continuing with the highline is suicidal. Looking at the bench there aren't any options that inspire confidence. Maybe Isak for Yarmo, but what does that do the shape? He is more forward than winger.

They are really frustrating to watch right now. So very frustrating, I can't imagine how the supporters must feel.

And what is the deal with German coaches and square peg round holes?

Yarmo banks one off a satellite on a sitter, but can hit a falling-away volley into the near post.

Pulisic was part of the build up. He was the outlet on the break and set up the cross on the other end of the pitch. Not getting on the sheet but he is contributing. Nothing to worry about for him and Dortmund is so much better in motion than they are against set defense.

    Zagadou is out.

    This is on Bosz.

Playing a high press defense with an 18yr kid starting in the CB.

He might get away with this in the Erevidisie but not in the BL.

Dortmund needs center backs that can read the game

    And has SPEED.

They have been killed with those direct long balls behind the defense the last 5-6 games.

A good deal of that is not reading the game. You don't need to be the fastest, reading the game makes things much simpler

    Disagree.

If your body can't do what your minds tell you to, then you're only half way there.

Exactly. He is pretty much loved by all the fans I know in Dortmund.

Are they critical? Sure - welcome to German culture.

    And it's 4:2, game over.

BP is as good as gone within the next 5 games. As I have said before, he's been dropping points at a rapid pace.

He hasn't learned a thing over the previous 5 games. The way he had this team playing, BVB needs to score at least 3-4 goals every game in order to win, which they did earlier in the season. However, the rest of the BL teams had caught up and truly exposed both the defense and BP's system.

I feel that CP will be more productive with a new manager running this team.
