Whitecaps might be up for sale. A source close to upper management has told me that Whitecaps’ ownership “are actively shopping” the club. #VWFC— 𝕲𝖑𝖆𝖘𝖘𝕮𝖎𝖙𝖞 (@GlassCityFC) October 22, 2017

What A Day! What A Day! What A Day! What A Day! What A Day! No calm in this storm before the playoffs. San Jose, FC Dallas, and Real Salt Lake have playoff-like games today. Me, I'm just watching European soccer until the greatest two hours in MLS rounds around. Here's what I'll think will happen.http://cappedsports.com/articles/1589/a-mexican-standoff-in-mls
If Toure is a Designated Player signing, it's more likely than not to go poorly. One would have expected NYC to have learned this by now given how their previous signings went. Villa and Moralez signed at one age, Lampard and Pirlo at another. Villa may be the league's best player, and Moralez has produced around what a $2M DP winger is likely to in their first year. By contrast, Pirlo and Lampard sold some tickets and jerseys, but rarely produced on the field like $6M men. At times, their play did not justify being on the field. And the experience of NYC is hardly unique. This would be ridiculous. ...oh, it's a Daily Star "exclusive." Without sources. Well, I think we know how seriously to take this report.
Eric Wynalda to stand for U.S. Soccer presidency, eyes changes to MLS This is the equivalent of running for class president on a "No Homework" platform.
Q. Does the federation have the power to dictate promotion and relegation? A. “I think it’s say to safe that if the federation imposed all the powers it might have there would be very long discussions with many people with high LSAT scores.” Source.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I miss the days when the final games were spread out over the weekend. You could watch six or seven separate matches and say your goodbyes to a bunch of teams until next season. 11 matches at once is a bit too much.
I think that's what he was meaning. The lawyers MLS can hire are going to be better than the lawyers the USSF can hire.
