Jurgen had a great vision for US Soccer.
Jurgen had success internationally at this game.
    Jurgen loves the sport.
We can hire someone beside him to be the business side of it or just keep Sunil for business.
He would force the MLS to bring pro/rel
He is what America needs right now.

Wait, since Juergen was one of the main problems/reasons for us declining as a senior team, we should hire him to replace the moron that hired him????

I don't know. JK can't coach. But that is a very different position to being in charge of the federation. He certainly had ideas and he worked hard to get them implemented. Changed age groups. Smaller fields. Are these good ideas?

This thread actually made me smile by bringing to mind Dana Carvey in the Mclaughlin Group skits.

    Jack Germonde: You're insane, John!

John McLaughlin: Wrong! I'm perfectly sane. Everyone else, however, is insane and trying to steal my magic bag. St. Patrick of Buchananomics!

I mean, when you really think about it, it’s not really a far-fetched idea.

He isn’t necessarily coaching the team, so he can implement his vision from top to bottom. Of course without him having any role of head coaching the senior team.

I did think about it once, but had it not been for the fiasco of firing Hugo Perez, which single-handily shaped the u-15’s, it probably would have been something worth considering.

He is credited with turning around Germany's program.

So...it may not be that far fetched to give him a shot at reorganizing or organizing our pyramid since it is far from complete.

Those ideas were in the pipeline already when JK was hired. I can't think of an actual change JK actually made to the youth programs that wouldn't have happened under a different TD, other than hiring his own guys as coaches.
