While I can see your point...the real issue is that our destiny was in our own hands. I agree that late in the other games it could have been that Mexico and Costa Rica let it slip a bit...but it doesn't matter even if the fix was in. As others have said -- "If we can't beat Trinidad and Tobago we don't deserve to go to the World Cup," Shite, we couldn't even tie them!!

Amazing, I just can't fathom, that in just 2 hours, everything was flipped from dream to nightmare. Talk about that 93% chance for qualifying.
USSF should have nothing to lose resetting the team altogether now. I fear this would more or less affect the confidence of better individual player like Pulisic and Yedlin.

I truly feel that I care more about this team than some of those players out there.

 

Just because they couldn’t qualify doesn’t mean the the game was meaningless to the players/coach.
