From those poll options; Hahn and Hofmann are out (and shouldn't have been there in the first place). While Goretzka and Philipp should be in.

Arent him and Goretzka more midfielders? Regardless Havertz appears to be one of the most exciting prospects in German football.
Goretzka played as an AM behind Wagner against N.Ireland. And also played in a role that was more supportive of the attack against Norway last time when he subbed on for Müller in the second half.
Karim Bellarabi has been one of the players who has fallen off the most. An actual option for back-up RW a couple years ago. Seems like his days of being connected to the NT are over. I also wonder how Lewis Holtby could have been if he didn't ruin himself by going to England. He was one of the top 10's in the BL during his time with Schalke, and one of the more exciting players to watch even in his earlier days at Mainz. He was also captain of the U21's back then, and scored 14 goals in 21 caps on that level.
Schürrle had his big moments in the past. Most notably in WC 2014 where he scored against Algeria, Brazil x2, and assisting Götze's tournament winning goal. But he hasn't shown to be reliable in terms of health and production since joining Dortmund. At this point, he's still got to compete against Maxi Philipp and others to get back into the rotation for playing time at the club level.
Zorc sees an opportunity for Maxi Philipp http://www.90min.de/posts/5660656-bvb-michael-zorc-traut-maximilian-philipp-die-wm-nominierung-zu
The Leverkusen boys looking good on match day 9. Havertz with trio of assists, while Brandt had one of each and he gets his third goal and assist of the season.
I hope Henrichs gets back his form and can break into first XI again...I won't mind if he plays at left back and displaces Wendell which I know is tough I also think Dominik Kohr is doing good job this season
DFB's interview with Mainz and Germany U17 NT player, Erkan Eyibil. He currently has 10 goals and 12 assists in 12 matches this season in B-Junioren. He considers Mesut Özil to be one of his role models, and often learns from watching videos on his technique and passing ability. https://www.dfb.de/news/detail/eyib...ache=1&cHash=20fa0dd428d1d666fc81ed6529752fc0
Detailed interview with Kai Havertz, who also considers his game to be guided by Özil's. http://m.rp-online.de/sport/fussbal...-orientiere-mich-an-mesut-oezil-aid-1.7203311

Philipp Ochs moving on loan to Bochum, hopefully he's able to find his breakthrough there. I wonder if this opens up space for Robin Hack at Hoffenheim, or if a similar loan would benefit him more in the long run. After them it looks like Nicolas Kühn, Elias Abouchabaka, Oliver Batista-Meier, and Fabrice Hartmann are the next major attacking prospects who are capable of featuring at the wing. Maybe also Palko Dardai could be a player to watch too.
Ole Pohlmann and Mehmet-Can Aydin too Jesaja Herrmann also plays at the Wing for Wolfsburg U19 these days but I think he prefers at CF. For his size, probably playing up front is better
Oscar Schönfelder at Mainz looks pretty promising. Hopefully he continues to make strides at the next levels.
Shurrle and Goetze looking better all the time for Dortmund, and Reus, of course, is finally back. If Shurrle and Goetze can stay healthy and consistent there will be some hard choices to make in a few months. Big ifs . . .Both more likely to be impact substitutes for additional attack, than 90 minute players. Hopefully Reus can work his way back into contention for starting spot.
Sane, Brandt, Havertz, and Gnabry continuing to establish themselves as players who should form the core of the next generation. Hopefully Maxi Philipp and Marius Wolf can continue to develop and become legit options for 2020. Hany Mukhtar could be a wildcard if he can return to Germany or move to a larger league and transfer his success at a higher level. Younes needs to bounce back a lot, after a rough season of injury and unprofessionalism.
Mukhtar should leave Denmark and go to a higher level. Maybe more players should consider that Danish or Eredivisie move. Problem with Younes besides not knowing where he's supposed to end up next season is how he's a very good dribbler with no efficiency/end product. I hope Kuhn doesn't end up with the same issues as Younes, who I hope makes his Eredivisie debut next season! Although if you compare Younes and Kuhn's Youth NT's stats, Kuhn's stats trounce Younes by a lot.
Going back to Schalke as an example, but if they can bring in Mukhtar and Holtby, they can be reasonable replacements for Goretzka and Meyer. While also start integrating a youth player like Kübler.
