Christ. I just repped a post before I noticed that it's 7 freaking years old.

    Yay zombie threads!

Alabama doesn't deserve to be a state

I say run it into TX and cut them both loose in the Gulf. Might stop some hurricanes

This was the freshest Moore thread I could find but I swear there's been one since.

And for an additional slap in the face, the banner ads at the bottom of this page are for BP, who has also been great for Alabama. ******** off.

I saw ITN posts and was very confused...it was also a trip down memory lane on his unique posting style

I got a Mitt Romney ad on top, and Stop the Romney/Ryan Plan on the bottom. Good job, bigsoccer sales reps.

I wonder if Moore is such a big fan of the Ten Commandments that he actually observes the sabbath with some sort of rigor. It always cracks me up when advocates of posting the Ten Commandments in public courthouses routinely go about their ordinary business on the sabbath.

    1- It's "a la".
2- Congressman Hastings doesn't live in Alabama and has none of the issues that Moore has that would make such a comparison realistic.
3- As a congressional candidate, Moore'd be running aganst someone who might make his silliness even more public than it's already become, even tho any opponent with a chance (outside the more civilized 7th District, where Terri Sewell is probably going to be a while) shares it to some degree. As a goobernatorial candidate, OTOH, he can use his schtick successfully in a lot of remote parts of the state and some not-so-remote ones. IMO he knows what he's doing, win or lose.

    Balls.

I thought this was a new thread, and got really, really excited for a bit.

I miss you, ITN. I miss you dearly.

Didn't even realize that I had started it!
Funny, that none of us even cared enough to post the election result. (He lost.)
Even stranger, is his wiki entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Moore
"sent to South Vietnam. Moore served as company commander of his MP unit and was known to be very strict. ... in his autobiography he recalls sleeping on sandbags to avoid a grenade or bomb being tossed under his cot, as many had threatened ...
he spent a year training and fighting professionally as a kickboxer ..."

Gonna be tough for a Democrat to win a Senate seat in Alabama, but we're doing all we can to get Jones over the top.

    Well, look who's back...

    Good luck with that.

I'm working on a campaign this year of a friend who's trying to topple a House Freedom Caucus member. It's an uphill slog, and a bit heady. We have a real shot at winning the primary.

Just want to point out that the GOPs are all in for Roy. In the context of his time, if he wins, he’s the craziest senator we’ve ever had.
