It usually resulted in a draw because as the opposition becomes more positive Mourinho becomes more negative and we falls deeper and deeper back. Today Everton imploded and we took advantage which is fortunate.
how many times will it take you to see a jose team with the lead absorb pressure and relinquish the ball only to hit back on the counter to wonder if its deliberate?
I am just happy to keep picking up wins while our arguably best player is injured. Also that is 3 times in 5 games we have blitzed an opponent in the last part of the game, it's a positive trend.
Mourinho does not have the players to operate in that manner and it is a very dangerous approach in this league as we saw last season.

It is a little more than generous to give Lingard the credit for Martial's penalty. He basically gave Martial the ball in a position where he was double marked and Martial made the best out of the situation.
xG map for Manchester United - Everton. I think United had a draw last year with a near-identical shot map. pic.twitter.com/UB4wYHuYEn— Caley Graphics (@Caley_graphics) September 17, 2017 Agree with this; overall performance was very similar to the game from last year.
Lingard involved in two goals, Lukaku involved in two goals. Martial continues his trend of putting defenders on skates. A lot of complaining in here. DIdnt see the full game because I was at work but it looked like we controlled the game for large portions of it and conceded a few chances in the 2nd but then put the game to bed. 3pts, 4 goals, no injuries. This is a good day.
We definitely didn't control that game. The scoreline flattered us immensely I thought. A draw would have been a better representation, minus the last 5/10 minutes.
Everton's few chances never troubled De Gea. Beyond our four goals, we bungled two glorious chances. 4-0 flatters no one. The better complaint is that we didn't crush Everton 6-0.
The oppo has not been real top notch yet, but there's a pattern/trend forming here. We would have bottled all of those games in recent seasons. That much is almost certain and we are able to finish games very strong as well.
Only because Rooney is shit. They were still very good chances that Everton should have done a lot better with. You are also forgetting the save from Sandro.
Jose had no thoughts for City after today's win vs Everton. www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11041110/jose-mourinho-has-not-thought-of-man-city-for-one-single-second-after-latest-win
Just wanted to say (haven't read all the comments yet) that I thought Fellaini had an outstanding game. MOM...single-handedly defending the entire midfield, where everyone else was wimping out. Great game at the end! They took Rooney out and the dam broke. I watched 3/4s of the game before I realized that Mata was on the field. Referee was awful, never could figure out his rationale for the call he made (or didn't make). DDG was excellent......Rooney would have scored multiple times without him. Midfield (other than Fellaini) was a bunch of light weights. Really happy that I don't hear the endless Wayne Rooney/Wayne Rooney/Wayne Rooney chatter anymore....I thought it was nice of the fans to sing White Pele though (think that was the song).
Go back and read, I have never clamored for Jose. Whats different about Jose is that he does not have his difference makers and he never was one to develop one. He did not buy one this summer.
Irrespective of whether you wanted Jose here or not (which I can appreciate/understand), it's just not necessary at all to start making up facts to try and make your points. To claim that Jose's style for example can not win United the title for example is complete BS. Again, in this very post: "he does not have difference makers..." What??? What do you call the likes of Rashford and Martial alone (that's without mentioning Pogs). Whether he develops those 2 properly is another matter and remains TBD. But the lies and hyperbole are not necessary in the least: you may have a valid point in some cases, but you're shooting yourself in the foot by sprinkling your own truths and alternative facts. Perhaps by doing so, you think it will make your point irrefutable or some such. Guess what? It accomplishes the opposite as far as I'm concerned...
Whatever dude, if you can not take an opinion, stop posting on a message board. Neither Martial or Rashford are difference makers at this stage that can win you the league. What lies? Calm down dude, or has Mourinho won us the league I am missing or lying about.
You can claim Mourinho will win us the next 20 league titles, I do not think he wins us one, not this season at least.
