It should have been for one of Mata or Mkhitaryan to give us width on the right.

Sure but you cant have your attacking options pose no threats.

In the situation I described given the lack of any other option on the bench and the shit show we have seen from Mkhitaryan and Mata.

Unfortunately Mourinho only sees Lingard for his work rate and tracking back instead of to fix a problem in attack and with tram balance.

Miki finishes off the game. It's a good thing Jose didn't listen to Teso and sub him off.

Props to Fellaini, who's had an excellent second half.

    How is that a problem?

He is a reasonable CB for the talent in the current generation of footballers.

Note that Koeman made attacking, positive substitutions to get something out of the game while Mourinho made defensive, negative substitutions to try to defend a 1-0.

We are fortunate that Everton capitulated.

even with this mish mash of players out there the utilisation is far from ideal.

why isn't Fellaini up there causing havoc?

He has been absolutely atrocious this season but if you look at his stats. Even his fans will concede that.

Now Lingard can "track back". Or even sit back.

We got lucky today. Big time.

A better striker for Everton and we don't win.

Has anyone played well here outside of DDG and Matic.

So many contenders for the worst player between Bailly, Jones, Mata, Lingard and Rashford - Bailly probably the winner.
