He has shown some decent instincts at times last season, but for a player so young still, development and tutelage from the right coaches or teammates is equally crucial. And unfortunately, it's not very likely he'll get that, at least from the coaching side. Vets like Kos or even Mertesacker might help him. But I'm confident that in the right hands, he probably could be much, much better. Plus defensive positioning is one of those things that can be thought relatively easily as well.
It's a great club I remember watching quite a bit when I was a teenager but I don't remember them ever, ever wearing a kit like this.
3 at the back against 1 striker is an awful idea, cant wait till this 352 goes away. Koln are bottom of Bundesliga by the way.

I was last in Köln for the 2005 Confederations Cup. The good old days of Adriano. Edit: Just remembered playing with him in PES6. Shoot from anywhere!
It's a shame what happened to Adriano and how he crumbled into depression when his father passed away..he could have been a legend. Javier Zanetti said when he retired that the biggest regret in his career was not helping Adriano overcome it.
The guy was literally a monster in all the senses of the word. I used to love watching him at his best. Physically, looked like Lukaku in terms of his speed/power ratio, but technically top notch and that left foot of his... As far as Arsenal are concerned, whatever said at HT worked, as Arsenal looked a completely different team after the break. Safe to say that the change in formation helped as well and as much as the 3 at the back looked to work at the end of last season, it might be the wise move for him to shelve it for the time being. And perhaps starting Kolasinac on a regular basis would seem like a good idea as well. And it looks like there is still work to be done to get Sanchez fully back on board (if it's even possible): he obviously doesn't look very happy out there.
Unsurprisingly, both Arsenal and Koln have been charged by UEFA because of the crowd unrest in yesterday's game. www.bbc.com/sport/football/41277425

Ibe has looked the business since coming on for Bournemouth and has really turned things around for them, setting up Defoe for the go ahead goal.
Carlitos had so much talent. Shame he ran with the paycheck and threw it all away. Bournemouth shakey this season but I'd bet Begovic, Defoe, and Howe can still keep them up.
Ibe finally ready to contribute for Bournemouth? www.skysports.com/football/news/11096/11037700/jordon-ibe-makes-the-difference-as-bournemouth-beat-brighton Just one game, granted, but Ibe showed what he can do. We'll see if he can keep it going.
They smashed Monaco, but they lost to Troyes, St. Etienne, newly promote Amiens (handily too), and were soundly beaten by Napoli in both legs of their CL playoff. They've now strung together two good wins though. Hopefully it means they'll kick on from here.
His entire career aside from Boca has been chasing the next big paycheck in order to make his money before returning to Boca to see out his career. I have no doubt he reluctantly agreed to the Chinese move not because of the outrageous wage but due to the reported ~£70m Boca received. His boyhood club benefits enormously, he gets one final huge contract and he can basically do the bare minimum for a year (I doubt he makes the second year) before returning back to Boca.
