I approve the new name, but I would've never changed the original. I don't negotiate with terrorists.
He was smarter than that - brought it in when the petro $$ were going to Spain & England, as soon as the message was received and some were then splashed in the direction of France, _then_ he watered it down
When Coutinho is too ill to turn up to Liverpool training… 🔴🔵🤒 pic.twitter.com/HVRtW9f4Ih— B/R Football (@brfootball) August 22, 2017

http://www.skysports.com/football/n...rth-138m-bid-for-liverpools-philippe-coutinho insane amount but probably a lose-lose situation for both
This is shaping up to be the most silliest last week in transfer history. I expect us to get close a billion euros in spent in the next week and bit with Barca, PSG, Liverpool, Chelsea, Monaco all expected to be active in the window. I hope we can get Meunièr in the madness especially if PSG sign Mbappe and need to fund 150m in sales with Aurier still embroiled in his court case.
Yeah - but i was simply pointing out that you can get an elite goal scorer and elite assister for significantly less - so Liverpool should defo sell.
7 goals and 13 assists in his best season for 101m guaranteed + 37m in bonuses is way past absurd, agreed. At least Dembele and Mbappe have elite potential and have 10+ seasons to amortize the cost over.
It's like the movie business of the 80s Sly and Arnie are already booked on other films so you manufacture Keanu who is actually not very good but he's the next star
Given the timing (one week left to go in the window) and what Coutinho represents to them, he certainly would be a big loss for Pool. But on the other hand, it's £138mil. Even if it's too late to get a replacement this summer, then tuck that money away and diligently start working on how you'll spend that money (whether it's in January or the following summer). Even if they accept to let him go next summer, odds are they won't get nearly as much as what Barca are offering now. Bite the bullet, so to speak, but take the money and run...
I literally had a long winded joke typed out yesterday regarding the thread title changing that has gone on. But you pretty much nailed it in a significantly better way.
I've got a different mindset..I don't think anyone big moves....maybe one player but I don't think the domino rally will get triggered. Time will tell.
Real have all but admitted defeat on the Mbappe front. PSG are not mucking about, having offered him twice as much as Real have apparently, salary wise... www.marca.com/en/football/international-football/2017/08/22/599c898de2704e46768b4626.html
What the ******** would that place psg at for payroll? Are Arsenal done too? Are they really keeping Sanchez and Oezil?
It's far from over. A whole week left is still plenty of time to get deals done. The urgency (and even despair) of some parties could get some things really moving now.
Fast start to the game between Pool and Hoffenheim, with clear chances on both sides. Can opens the score with the help of a massive deflection.
Nostalgic! That wall though. 🇮🇹💪🏼 pic.twitter.com/buxUVwcmoy— Football Tweet ⚽ (@Football__Tweet) August 23, 2017
