Turkish star Emre Belozoglu has set his sights on a move to England, his agent has confirmed to skysports.com.

Emre's agent Ahmet Bulut has revealed that despite interest from other Italian clubs such as Milan, the Internazionale midfielder wants to try his luck in The Premiership.

The news will be a major boon for Manchester United, who are understood to be leading the chase for the talented playmaker - but Arsenal - who have bid for Emre in the past - could yet rekindle their interest.

The 24-year-old has done well in Italy since his move from Galatasaray in 2001, but he is now considering his future.

"He has a firm idea in his mind and that is to play in England," Bulut told skysports.com.

"He wants to move as soon as possible, he is 24 now and whenever it is possible, he will go.

"If we have offers to consider, then it will be England where he goes, probably in the summer, but he wants to go as soon as he can."

Bulut admitted he was aware of United's interest - but denied that he had already held talks with the Old Trafford outfit.

"I have heard of United's interest recently through the press and television reports, but I have not talked with anyone from Manchester," he continued.

"Emre would dearly love to play for a club like Manchester United and he would jump at the chance to play for them."

Bulut added that Arsenal could never be ruled out of the running.

"Arsenal have always liked Emre," he said.

"They were again very keen when [Patrick] Vieira was going to leave - but obviously he did not go.

"We will see what happens, but Arsene Wenger knows all about him.

"Milan are also interested - but I cannot see Inter letting him go there and Emre himself wants to move to England."

 Give me a break. The above jumble is nothing more than Emre's agent reminding anyone that his client is still alive. Why would Arsenal buy Emre as a replacement for Vieira? Makes no sense. Rosicky said the same things about Chelsea last year, and he's still at Dortmund.

    Emre is 24.

Why do you hate on him so much??

I hope he goes to Man U and prove shimself, he is built for Prem play.

    So?

I don't. Why do you wet yourself at his mention?

No he's not. He's slight, and will get muscled off the ball. Just what United need - another not good enough CM.

Manure need a new center back to partner Rio, a new goal keeper, and a new DM to replace Keane, far more than they need Emre. This just doesn't make sense really.

    Nonsense.

    - Silvestre is crap. You need a new Sol Campbell/Stam style center back to partner to partner a ball player like Rio.

    - Carroll of an average keeper. Howard is the new David James. Manure need a top class keeper, which they don't have.

    - There are far better DM's in World football than Gattuso. If you're gonna wish, at least do it right.

Long term replacements for Scholes and Giggs are also needed.

So he is young and can still be bought by big clubs, that is why Milan are still after him.

Why do you come to ever thread where Emre is mentioned. I just want a Turkish player to do well, what is so bad about that?

His Dribbling could get him out that. I think he would have fit in well at Arsenal if he went after WC02. Arsenal's style fit Emre better than Manure.

Every Turkish player is not godlike... get over it. We dont NEED a partner for Rio, although it would be nice... what we need is another winger a 25 year old Keane and for Scholes to play like he can.

Milan are NOT after him. They don't need him.

I post on the EPL threads all the time. You could be having a circle jerk to Emre's picture on the Turkey boards and I wouldn't know about that.

No, since they use their CMs to defend. Which Emre doesn't. And his dribbling isn't that great.

Well they are, and I would think a lot of people would be interested in 2 time Inter Player of the year.

You troll the Turkish board too, you fvckin cvnt. Dont lie. I could post the threads if you want.

Emre doesnt need to play in the center, he could play in a Scholes role.

HAHAHAH... where does Scholes play? Leftback? You idiot Scholes is a central midfielder... my god, this is Zaniesque. Oh, and we also know that he was not the "real" Inter player of the year and that the award was handed out by a fan group and not actually the club itself.

Oh, about Milan being interested in Emre - who in their midfield is he better than? Pirlo? Gattuso? Seedorf? Kaka? even the bench players are as good as he.

And you've no proof Milan are interested.
He is not a 2 time Inter Player of the Year.

I haven't posted there in months. Feel free to find my most recent post.

Scholes plays in the middle you fvcktard.

Huh. I can't wait for the inevitable excuses trotted out by Fener fans here once the second game rolls around. Its going to be fun watching them explain away that loss. I wouldn't be surprised if "the team ate bad British food and weren't feeling well" is used.

Try listing some then. Gattuso would be very high in my list of combative DM's. Hell, I even had him in my "Dream XI" post. It's a great thread, you should read though it, then add your own. ;)

Emre is somehow very disliked on this thread.

But i must say i think this guyis a very good player.
He is fiery and a bit tempermental!
However, Emre is a good CM who can dominate a game.
His shooting and passing are exceptional, his tackling is above average.
His slight build does hamper his tenacious game and he is frequently injured, but he can be a valuable player!

    i'm
If Manchester could get De Rossi or Emre, they would be ********ing stupid to get Emre. De Rossi is at least a hard tackling midfielder (a pretty young one also) who could replace Keane eventually. I couldn't see Emre replacing Keane, and I don't think he is that good anyway.
