I say we go all out for Martial. Mourinho doesn't like him and he'd probably have the most talent on Roma. Dude is a tad mercurial , but we'd hug him and hold him tight.
Gerson has been taken off the market. Di Francesco values him and Roma are willing to give him a second chance [Austini] pic.twitter.com/LfZI1AnI1y— CalcioASRoma (@CalcioASRoma) August 9, 2017
I know nothing about Munir other than reputation. He'll be 22 next month and I know he was a hot prospect for a few years. http://www.forzaroma.info/calciomer...ra-la-roma-e-munir-il-barca-vuole-15-milioni/
Extremely wasteful in front of goal. Not sure about his performances at Valencia, but I watched him closely at Barca, and he missed gilt edged chances handed to him on a platter by arguably the best midfield in the world with alarming regularity.
Di Marzio says that Roma are preparing a new offer for Mahrez. Monchi has alternatives, but Mahrez is considered the ideal option for EDF. The new offer is expected to be close to 40m. http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/roma-set-to-make-new-offer-to-leicester-for-mahrez-the-latest
It should be Mahrez or bust, but Munir for 15 mln with no buy-back option for Barca would be a steal and a better deal than that of Ünder or Defrel imo.

More money, even with the stadium news? Roma are ready to increase their offer for Mahrez close to €40M, which is the valuation of Leicester for foreign teams [Di Marzio] pic.twitter.com/3em0XccTVn— CalcioASRoma (@CalcioASRoma) August 9, 2017
What stadium news? There hasn't been anything official, has it? Just some biased suit running his mouth, trying to find excuses not to build the stadium.
I'm sure JP knows exactly what's going on. If we do indeed buy Mahrez then my guess is he knows it's going through. If he pulls the plug on Mahrez then I'm guessing the stadium is dead and he sells the club.
What is unreal is that Raptor was paying for the entire thing which, at least in the US, almost unheard of. Then you have idiots who have not even looked at the plans or even understand any of the studies / designs make ignorant comments about flooding, bridges etc. JP can be a real ass but he's done wonders bring this club back from bankruptcy and I wouldn't blame him a bit for selling the club.
I'm just really curious to know what the argument is for not building the stadium. I get not having skyscrapers or messing up any ancient sites. But I heard they cut down the skyscrapers and as of now we haven't heard anything from an archeological standpoint so why would you not want someone to invest that money in your city?
Because these are government bureaucrats who have no real managing skills and just want to cockblock.
Diego Perotti reveals Mohamed Salah’s departure has given him the chance to make different movements in attack for Roma. The Giallorossi are in Spain, where tomorrow evening they will face Sevilla in the Antonio Puerta Memorial trophy. “Coming back here after seven years is very emotional and pleasing for me,” said Perotti in his Press conference. “I’ve always said this is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Tomorrow’s game will mean a lot to me, as I’ll have the chance to honour Antonio. I arrived at Sevilla aged 18, now I am an adult and a father.” Perotti will be called to take on another role this season following Salah’s sale to Liverpool. “We’re a work in progress, but the team is working well. We’ve got a squad strong enough to win a title and that would be totally unforgettable. I want to give the fans that joy of lifting a trophy with us. “I really like the new system, it makes me do different movements that in the past I didn’t need as much, moving between the lines and not just waiting for the ball. “I will be closer to the centre-forward, provide more assists and improve my shots per game ratio. I’ll have more options and won’t just have to make the same movement every time, like I did last season.”
I agree I wouldn't want a modern stadium near ancient ruins but this is nowhere near ancient Rome. It's out towards Fiumicino and the only building remotely near are modern buildings. It's so frustrating. Maybe if Pallotta would spend more time in Rome and rub elbows with these people it might help. I think he's done a good job but being so absent is a real problem and I have no doubts it turns off some of these politicians. They want to feel important and they want to know the President of Roma need something from them. 2 biggest areas of improvement for him are being in Rome more and how he talks to the press.
