Roma have confirmed the Kolarov signing. The fee is 5m. That's the third solid 5m signing after Moreno and Gonalons. Monchi Business.

Pep was planning to make Kolarov City's captain next year, he has a lot of respect for him. We added 3 players with strong leadership to the squad, hope this makes it easier for EDF.
Kolarov for 5 million seems like an absolute steal to me. Wouldnt surprise me in the least tho if a portion of our dumber fans boo him early doors. I think Kolarov is a big enough boy tho and will just get on with it.
If Neymar actually goes, Barca will go hard after Philippe Coutinho not Mahrez. I wouldn't have thought that Neymar would actually leave while Messi can still play at his insanely high level - he initially chose Barca over Real only because he wished to play alongside Messi. But the obscene amounts of money on offer these days could turn anyone's head I guess. Barca must be regretting not making the minimum release clause much much higher than it currently is. If guys like Pogba and Kyle Walker are commanding premium fees, Neymar is probably worth 250m+ in this market.

Di Marzio says that Roma have offered 30m + bonuses (in euros) while LC are still holding out on 40m pounds (about 45m euros). There's still quite a distance between the clubs.
With 200 mil from Neymar plus there already giant account they can get Coutinho and Mahrez without making a dent. There MF needs a lot of work and Coutinho would fit in great there.
Diego Perotti assures new #ASRoma signing Cengiz Ünder is “very strong” but “he needs to gain some muscle”. https://t.co/zXz6OD5q2R pic.twitter.com/2yU7YzShDY— Football Italia (@footballitalia) July 24, 2017
Of course what Perotti meant to say was, he is very skilled but needs to gain some muscle. Good to hear that it seems the lad has made a good impression already tho.
