The physical tools are there. The mental and heart are not. Even as a winger, he needs to track back and help and he hardly did so with Juve. I think he fit well with Pepe's system but not for Ancelotti.

I don't see the fullback thing. That's for turkeys with the athletic range to cover a wing, a la Abate. Try hards who lack quality. Coman is the opposite.

Maybe he needs a micro manager and a guy who will prod him, like many younger guys do. Pep was that. Ancelotti obviously not.

Under Pep, defensive duties were not important. He played in place of the injured Ribbery. Ribbery returned last season and Coman was injured. He is at his best as a winger in a 4-3-3. He was not impressive under Juve's 3-5-2. Again, coming back to defend was not in his vocabulary.

    I think you nailed it. He's a winger in a 433, not a WB.

So I read Cerci and Cassano will sign with Verona. You know with all the names players the club has had in recent years, Rafael Márquez, Javier Saviola and Luca Toni, if Hellas had signed them all in their primes, they could have won their second scudetto.

    I'm truly annoyed -

Cassano-Pazzini-Cerci: So where and when will our Verde play? He was just loaned out to a lower Serie A team specifically to find playing time, yet he's going to be hindered by these old sickos.

I'm sure Daniele Verde will play as Verona will struggle to stay out of the relegation zone.
Hellas seem to have a lot of big names though. They even have Maurizio Ganz' son, Simone.

I don't think that Cassano will play that much.

I agree, I think Verde will play and play well. I think this is a kid we may very well see back at Roma in a couple years.

Turns down Chelsea and Manchester City. Signs with AC Milan. Seems legit.

Juve should play hardball if they're as financially sound as everyone says. You don't have to play for us, but you don't have to play at all either.

I can't imagine he'd pass up a chance to play with a club that could make another CL run for a chance to play in the EL.

I also laughed it off yesterday but today it really seems to be happening. Apparently he and his family want to stay in Italy.

If it does happen I would expect Juve to drop 40 mill on Manolas.

I don't know if everyone already knew these rumors, but it's news to me.

If Bonucci leaves especially under these circumstances, they're at serious risk to fall back to the pack in Serie A. [IMG]

Damn, if he really wants to leave I'd take him. I know Monchi doesn't buy names but this would seem like a no-brainer. We could offer him CL football, something ACM can't... and might not next year with their reckless spending they could run afoul of ffp.
