Serge Romero got the start today against Southampton. I guess Mourinho is giving him game time ahead of the EL final and I assume he will start on Sunday as well. He saved a penalty and had two other good saves on tough shots. He's a more than decent keeper and will be hard to beat.

So how does Bosz go and get the Manager of the Year title over Gio? KNVB Amsterdam strikes again.

Bosz was simply the better coach. Had only 1 point less than Feyenoord while he just came in last summer and lost 5 points thanks to Franks horrible formation from last season. Ajax played better and more entertaining football than Feyenoord, who have been able to build over a few seasons. And whos team, thanks to the (international) experience of the players, needed less coaching and guidance than our young team. Apart from having only 1 point less, Bosz also reached the EL final (and will possibly win it) while putting up some impressive performances. The whole of Europe is talking about it. He finally brought some positive attention back to Dutch football. Only a Feyenoorder could think Gio deserves it more.

Oh and the winner is not selected by the KNVB but by fellow coaches.

Why would Spurs want either player? Veltman is an OK central defender who is absolutely not a RB. He's not as good as Alderwiereld on defense. Klaassen scores goals but is not all that great on the ball. Who would he displace? He's certainly not as good as Alli or Eriksen.

Veltman is probably worth €8M; Klaassen might go for a lot of money if he does well in the EL final against ManU, maybe €20M or more.

    DeLigt.

Klaassen is a good player, but he'll never be world-class

    Indeed.

I think Dolberg, Sanchez and Kluivert will get top clubs for sure.

Neres and Van de Beek will get top clubs or very good clubs.

  16. You Amsterdam lot are very excited about the EL. When Feyenoord won it (UEFA Cup) the Ajax crowd denigraded it as as a surrogate cup for the real thing, the CL, and that it was below what Ajax aspires to. How things can change in 15 years.

Stars are for ten eredivisie championships. Ajax have win 33 league titles which gives them three stars.

Funny how Feyenoorders are so scared their success might get overshadowed by Ajax. Inferiority complex much?

Quite alot of people all over just always like seeing Ajax fail no matter what. That Feyenoord happened to be succesful this season doesnt change that. Only thing changed is your narrative

Not really, most of us still view EL as a secondary, consolation prize. The only difference is Ajax are playing so amazingly well that nobody expected this

No, I meant the stars above the badge, but I forgot those are ED stars as O14 pointed out, and I also forgot we've won 4 CL cups, not 3 (sorry Kluivert)
