I think Woo Chan Yang is also a really good player. He can defend, attack, has great physicals and plays very intelligent. He can already cross better than YSY and KJS together ;)

Not only in this game but almost in every game I liked his play so far.

So we finally got a decent fullback?

    Deserved victory overall.

I know Argentina lost 3-0 to England but I still think Argentina are the bigger threat

edit: but we're playing them when they got exposed, and we're playing them next. i guess that's fine with me.

lsw grabbed his crotch at the ground after the final whistle. Was worried there.

I saw Argentina playing today, they got a good midfield duo but nothing more than this. Then again, every match is different.

Their GK sucks. He really does.

No... avg at best. He didn't even play well imo..

Two CBs played well today. They didn't make any stupid mistakes. Extremely disappointed by midfield... too sloppy & slow at times (while easily getting dispossessed too). They were't fluid at all...

    Lee SW was excellent

I think Lee Seungmo struggled a bit. Lim Minhyuk was impressive. I always liked him. Both LSW and BSH played well once we settled into the match. Cho was busy and sacrificing himself playing a defensive forward at times; not really sold on him past this level however...

Overall, I don't know how predictive this match was for the rest of the tournament. Guinea were an absolute Jekyll and Hyde side imo. Individually, they had fantastic physique and skill. Some of them had NFL type bodies. But tactically they were a complete wreck after 30 minutes when their adrenaline wore off.

Until our first goal, we really struggled in the midfield as they pressed. We were even worse in attack as they man-marked with ease. Set pieces looked daunting as well. And Jules Keita really caught the eye even though his complete lack of tactical awareness was apparent. Then we settled into the match and Guinea's lack of experience and tactical awareness exposed them badly.

Our defenders really weren't tested. It was as if we were playing against one of the desert sides in the AFC with a lot of mercs. They were basically shooting on sight from ridiculous areas of the pitch. And after our first goal, the seal was broken.

Anyway, I'm glad we got Guinea out of the way and we settled into the match. This was a confidence boost. But the real challenge comes next...

Clap clap clap! Congratulations in your victory over Guinea. While scrolling at the pages of my book during the commercial break I couldn't stop to recall your defense is like a damped oscillator. (no pun intended) but fun. :) Overall nice match, next leg is Argentina and it won't be easy to overcome but they were not too aggresive nor effective during the qualifying tournament and they come from a loss to their nemesis England, maybe this would be an advantage?. (unsure). Despite I felt worried over the condition of LSW at the end of the match (let's hope is nothing serious) I am still confident you will make it to the next stage. Btw, MBC plus is streaming again the match so you can watch it on this link. Have a nice weekend everyone!.

Maybe we need LSW in KNT as playmaker.

I think you are giving too much credit to the Guineans... Their defensive/tactical understanding was atrocious. They had 'run-towards-the-ball' attitude but that was it. I know their preparation was hampered by lack of funding, but even Vanuatu had better defensive organisation than them...

I wouldn't say he was excellent. He was good against a poor side. I haven't seen anything to suggest he would excel in Europe like some here have been raving on.

His first touch can be poor at times and his lack of physical strength is gonna be an issue against grown men.
