So, I didn't watch McMaster's press conference: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/quick-reaction-to-mcmasters-presser But did he basically do a 180 on his statement from last night? Sounds like he might have.
I have no idea what you're talking about with two scoops of ice crea The MSM media spent 4 f*cking years covering you dumb ass racists who contended that Obama was born in Kenya - a far worse story than the Trump Dossier, with much less truth. And I don't give a crap who Journalists donate to. Maybe it's because you're an unemployed troll who gets paid by Russians to live in his Mom's basement to say mean things to Democrats, but you are apparently unaware that people generally lead to separate lives - a professional life and a private life. Investigative Journalism is not remotely the same thing that tools such as Don Lemon or any of the yahoos on Fox News and CNN. It's a serious job where you're in charge of protecting the Republic from our government. I don't care if these guys are donating to Bashar Al-Assad, they do a good job, and they almost ALWAYS get proven to be true in their reporting. If you really think that just because on has a personal life and personal belief, that it makes you unfit to do a professional job, then it's you that has the problem, not the professional.
Biden ran twice and lost twice, and didn't even come close to winning (I supported him in 2008). And then Obama plucked him from relative obscurity. Who's to say his third bid wouldn't have ended the same way? I'm a bit surprised by the certainty people (including Biden himself) display when talking about how he would have performed in a 2016 presidential race.
I don't think you can describe his presser today by using Euclidean geometry. The upshot is, McMaster indirectly confirmed that the President disclosed classified information, while attempting also to claim that nothing he said last night was misleading. But there was nothing straight enough in what he said to be measured by a protractor.
What could possibly go wrong. Can we talk about how he outright stated that Islam hated us? Or how is bootlickers all believe that Islam is evil?
In the spirit of bipartisanship and the universal belief that all things should be equally good for geese and ganders alike, I propose that any reference to the current President require the use of his full name, Donald "Servant of Allah" Trump. Sincerely, Barack Hussein Obama
Donald J. Trump won. Joe Biden is a white man, which would have gotten rid of Clinton's sexism handicap. He is also a very popular Vice-president who just came off his second term with a president who could boast very good approval numbers deep into his presidency.
Me too. Male would have helped a lot. On the other hand, the right's media knows how to smear like nobody's business. They've been laying off Joe because they didn't care. If they came after him, we might "learn" in 3 months time that he's more corrupt than Hillary could ever dream of being.
I believe it was Red State that came up with the legendary headline "Man climbs Trump Tower using Trump's own superpower: sucking."
I understand the theory, I just don't understand the certainty. Everyone loves Biden (few more than me), but he wasn't that great of a candidate the first two times. Why would that have been different the third time around?
Like Clinton, he was a known quantity at the national level this time around. Unlike Clinton, he would not have been hampered by any sexism from the electorate. We are also talking about a very small margin of improvement he would have needed - in raw votes - to win the electoral college.
Because Biden became significantly more popular after Obama picked him to be VP... It may be related to the fondness people have for Obama, but a lot of Biden's foibles have been forgotten and/or are considered to be endearing now...
Exactly... Biden may have been an obscure Senate backbencher when Obama picked him to be VP, but the guy is now a rockstar (stand-up comedian?) in the Democratic party now. I have no doubt that he would have at least made the Democratic primary competitive (and really competitive, not fake competitive like Sanders did) and may have been able to actually beat Clinton.. The guys only real issue is that he's a gaffe machine, which has become a positive for him in the last 8 years.
