Somehow Bigsoccer didnot post the Australia story this morning, but what ever. Sucks for them that it didnot happen today. Things didnot go as planned. I thought the extra week between the matches would be good for recovery and resting, but probably gave them too much time to think about it. What is it with this team not able to do it on artificial turf. AFAIK almost all points all were lost on artificial turf. In all those art. turf matches you see passing and ball control is off from the standard on grass. Feyenoord did what Lyon did after the goal behind, play out of position instead of keeping the organization intact, which is an open invitation to counter attack.
If Feye draw and Ajax win, then Ajax win the title. I wouldn't wanna be in Rotterdam if/when that happens. Could you imagine walking around in an Ajax shirt on Coolsingel right after the game??!!
Heracles also need a win to qualify for the Europa League playoffs so they have an incentive to come out strong!!! 8 & 9 place teams qualify this season as Vitesse are the cup winners and Twente are not eligible. Forza Heracles!!!

One of the more dominant outcomes is where people could fill in multiple clubs they liked or supported. 46% filled in Ajax, 27% Feyenoord, 21% PSV. http://www.volkskrant.nl/sport/46-procent-fan-van-ajax-fc-twente-populairder-dan-psv~a3256991/ An 2013 research by Repucom (Nielsen) showed Ajax at 4.1 million fans - broad definition - and Feyenoord atround 3.0 million. 'Fans' in a wide definition. Older edition at 4.3 and 2.9 million respectively. https://www.ajaxlife.nl/updates/ajax-is-populairste-club-met-sterkste-merk-en-beste-imago This one shows a regional bias: http://www.tubantia.nl/integratie/voetbalkaart And a scientific study showed Feyenoord had the most solid and constant fanbase whereas the core of Ajax would be ranked mid-table. Their core isn't that strong nor big in size funnily. Oh dear, the city council has given green light for Feyenoord City. Oh dear me, we're fvcked. Only hope is that other investors needed for the rest of the money do their calculations and conclude: "No, thank you very much".

About the away shirts, why donot they use the home design in different colours. Like green/black instead of the red/white? Or silvergrey/black.
I was a little child when I saw Soren Lerby and Frank Arnesen play at De Meer stadium. Jeezus, I'm getting old
Historic collapse was the near bankruptcy we faced just a couple of years ago. If Feyenoord doesnt win against Heracles at home it would be humiliating but also just kind of business as usual as far as the Eredivisie goes. Ajax - de graafschap, that year we had a 3 way split between AZ/PSV/Ajax etc. We will see, I think we will win and if we dont theres none to blame but ourselves and Ajax would be the deserved champions then.
Congrats, well deserved, Ajax were just not ready this season. And especially for Kuyt, well deserved & what a guy he was for Oranje & every team he has played, giving his heart & soul !
Twentyone seasons I have been following this club, and had to wait 18 seasons since the last Eredivisie title. I even watched the 10-0 drubbing by PSV which had to have been the lowest point. What a finish: Dirk Kuyt hattrick! You have to admit that Ajax also had a banner year what with finishing only 1 point shy and making it to the Europa League Final. Here's to hoping they beat Manchester United.
