To a relative newcomer like me there are clubs that have taken huge steps to become part of the post 2007 era and those who just haven't made an effort. Look at Dallas, a low budget and small attendances have been offset by investment in successfully developing young players. In contrast there are teams that have spent heavily on DPs. Thirdly there are teams that have rebranded and fill their stadiums. But 4 or 5 teams seem to have paid lip service to the modern era. Maybe there need to be more San Jose's. I wonder what discussions are taking place in Garber Tower.
Fitting that Oguchi Onyewu gets a start on Throwback Night. https://t.co/erlhKLeSew— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) May 6, 2017 Ouch ...
So DC is back to being DC. Ben called his players phonies. Also Canada is about to go 3 and 0 this weekend. **** Canada!
MLS originals and Philly... who have the jaded, dispassionate feel of an original. Montreal is the only minor exception here. I guess im not surprised overall. Houston-Orlando should save us.
Javi Morales returning to Rio Tinto Stadium with Dallas tonight should result in some good soccer, unfortunately not for the home team.
I laughed out loud. 'Alot of teams can go on long runs. Philly doesn't have the talent to go on a long run of games' Paraphrased of course.
Speaking of Shep, he referred to Felipe as "an instigator and antagonator". I had to rewind from the live feed to be sure that I heard correctly. That word is not in any dictionary that I have ever used. It is in the Urban Dictionary so I guess that Shep is just expanding my knowledge of the English language.
