Argentina FA sent a letter to Indonesia FA offering a friendly match at that date, but recently it seems Singapore FA trying hard to have a friendly match with Argentina at the same date, Singapore FA even willing to re-schedule the ACQ match against Taiwan for it.

According to Today Online: Two-time World Cup champions Argentina are scheduled to come to Singapore to play an international friendly at the National Stadium on June 13.

TODAY understands that the South American football powerhouse, currently No 2 in the FIFA world rankings, have been pencilled in to take on V Sundramoorthy’s Lions after their trip to Australia to play a friendly against Brazil on June 9.

The match is co-organised by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and international sport and entertainment promoter UNICESS, and is meant to mark the FAS’ 125th anniversary.

Ticket prices, from S$40 to S$188 for adults, will be available from Sports Hub Tix from 9am on April 20. Concession tickets, for children aged 16 and below and senior citizens aged 60 and above, cost S$25.

The Lions are scheduled to take on Asean rivals Myanmar in a friendly on June 6, followed by its Asian Cup Group E qualifying game against Taiwan on June 10.
