I like them - you guys are just conservative they will look much better when they are actually being worn. I think that many of you who say you don't like them actually like them, but you just want to go along with the majority.

They are crap, the design is too detailed from a design point of view but the release is great from a marketing point of view, it does'nt really matter vo cuz we all know adidas could release any piece of shitt and would profit aneway, so what do they care!!! The players are just advertising billboards.

Well I think you like the F50+ because you like adidas in general.

I think you don't like the majority of us slagging the F50+ off because it is an ADIDAS boot we are criticising. Sorry, but it's whole load of rubbish about following the majority.

I actually liked the F50. One of the reasons is that the design is simple. The F50+ 'artwork' is just too much... Anyways it's going to be alright (sales-wise) as long as Adidas let a couple of stars wear it.

He's worn the black/silver F50s before. He used to be a Kelme man, last time I saw he was wearing Nike.

Why fix something that isn't broken, i hope Adidas loses masses of money over this, the best F50's are the Blue/White and The Black/Silver (Robben's ones) Although, the new White/Champagne F50+'s are at least bareable.

    Re: Adidas F-50+

I'm not overly fond of the complete redesign. By all means create a second generation (that are wider and might have some other small improvements like making them more waterproof) but don't just totally change the look and colours, and also discontinue some of the older ones.

Out of all of them I still prefer my silver/black ones.

I think he was signed by Kelme but now he just wears what he wants (or maybe he's trying to find out what he likes best and then will be after a new deal).

Erm guys, this is an F50+ thread! Now I've seen the pics, I agree with the majority that the design is too busy, trying too hard and the original was 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000x better.Sam :(

    F50+ My 50 cents

I liked the original F50s a lot. I think Adidas made a mistake of taking them out of the market so soon. There are tons of different colours & finishes that could have been done with them. I agree that Adidas might be trying too hard to do new stuff in order to beat Nike. The solution to that is simple: GET BETTER ADS AND COMMERCIALS! Adidas' marketing and communications is the big factor for improvement, not their products!!!
They should have updated the old F50s designs with better quality & nicer materials like they do with Predators...

    Re: F50+ My 50 cents

I'm not sure advertising is the whole problem for adidas. I mean they have players like Beckham, Zidane, Gerrard and Lampard as real well known users of their products. They seem to have some really top names but don't make as much impact for me. The way I see it, Nike boots are like fashion accessories, they are really word of mouth type of products. Adidas obviously have the upper hand in terms of quality of products, and improvements in technology but they don't seem to push it as hard as Nike do.

They just look like an aesthetic thing to me. Especially as they're on the outside of the boot.

I don't suppose anyone has any clues to any different colours coming out? I don't remember if they released the blue/white F50s at the same time as the black/yellow ones or seperately. I hope they come out with something other than the blue ones, the red ones and the gold ones.

Shaun Wright-Phillips had the blue F50+s on in the Manchester derby. It's odd you don't see anyone with the white/red ones yet (although they haven't been given a release date).

I'm actually starting to like them - if they come out with a better colour like a nice black or even a silver/black one like the normal F50s (that I own) I would get a pair next time I'm in the market.

What is interesting is so many players are still wearing the normal F50s (usually the silver ones - in fact Jermain Defoe has switched to that colour). I wonder if it's a colour thing or something else.

I agree because the F50+ are reeli jus the normal F50 tarted up abit sorta like elton john. And also like elton john abit on the ugily and camp side.
I love the normal F50 in blue n white and black and yellow ,but the white and blue have one problem.........keepin dem clean. With the state of the pitches in the north west of england in winter, its just not practical to have white boots so im just gona buy the black and yellow F50 at the reduced price, thanks to the F50+ :D :D :D :D

    Re: Adidas F-50+

Well the F50+ is supposed to be wider, they call the top part a different type of kangaroo leather and there's something different around the laces.
