I knew the MSM would freak out about Nunes. So now they are telling us that we shouldn't believe Nunes, that his credibility is now ruined, but stories from anonymous sources and stories from 11 years ago are damning evidence. It's so predictable. If it wasn't so one sided, MAYBE it could be credible. weird how journos sensationalize every snippet of selectively, anonymously leaked info against Trump but rush to downplay Nunes' huge news.— Mollie (@MZHemingway) March 23, 2017
My mom went to college with Mika's mom. That makes her my college cousin, or something. No, I've never met her. I just wanted to let you know that you are all at most four degrees of separation away from Mika.
I think we have established that polls are worthless. First Female President Mrs. Clinton agrees with me. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/president/ The Russian narrative is just that, a narrative. But to respond despite... Blockade will be overturned. So called "Trumpcare" will also fail - which will be blessing in disguise for Trump. You should really watch the hearings, top shit comedy unlike SNL! p.s: i wonder how much of America has its communications "incidentally" collected?
Your link shows nationwide polls. Clinton won the popular vote. At most polls were off by 2 points. Assume they're still off by 2 points today. That means Trump is at a whopping 44% approval. Whoopty f***ing doo ...
That's exactly what happened to Flynn. He called an FI and got picked up as an incidental. Which is exactly what Nunes said. Legal and incidental collection. But you wouldn't know that because you are going of Sputnik rather than what Nunes actually said. Maybe team drumpf should stop calling criminals and RIS
Good post. Just as an aside I lived in NZ in the latter days of "the 6 o'clock swill." The bars closed a 6 pm the idea being quit drinking while the kids are on the streets. Trouble was work quit at 5pm and good drinking customers had to get their fill before closing time. Made for interesting driving after 6.
This couldn't be wronger. The "media" of 1787 was highly politicized, scurrilous beyond Fox News' wildest imagination, and mostly owned by fly-by-night opportunists. The normal process was for a major political figure-- Jefferson, Hamilton, Clinton, Burr-- to sponsor someone with imagination and no conscience to start and run a paper to publish his pseudonymous writings and attack his opponents and related targets. The era of responsible journalism in the U.S. was very brief-- didn't start until after the Lindbergh kidnapping and died about the Simpson trial. And as far as socialist left, have you heard of Tom Paine? The socialist left had plenty of outreach/influence. Of course one could be a lot Righter and still be socialist in a world where aristocracy ruled. Oh-- and it seems worth pointing out that the government as designed had no parties per se. That was really Jefferson's invention-- early on but not at the outset.
But then before long you'd get a whole lot of guff about how the prices are set by the Elders of Zion...
I didn't say it was "huge news". He did drop a bomb on the media though...they are still talking about it and I would bet you will be talking about it for awhile. He instantly gave Trump justification for his "wiretapping" tweet and that sent every host on CNN and MSNBC into denial and hysteria ever since. Admitting he found evidence of surveillance of Trump team members that didn't have anything to do with Russian collusion, then seeing these same team members names unmasked and this info released across the government intelligence agencies without a valid reason, isn't new? Nunes obviously thought it was, that's why he told the President.
And KochInc. just told No on Trumpcare voters "don't worry, Daddy still has a shit ton of dirty $$ for y'all if you diss The Donald" It's disgusting for democracy for many reasons but still conforms to Republican BAU. Someone pop the popcorn!
The problem is that the people who shoulder the majority of the tax burden use relatively little services. The ultra-rich and the upper middle class and even some of the lower middle class are almost always putting more into the government than they are getting out of it. If everyone who got less out of government than what they put in opted out, government finances would collapse overnight.
I remember being fairly shocked when reading about the political hack jobs from the 1700s. Especially when the people involved are held up to the highest regards these days.
Fewer. Fewer electoral college votes. If it's okay for people to go on and on for pages about the electoral college and Hillary and Bernie in the Trump Presidency thread, it's okay for me to bitch about their grammar. Honest to god, this crap is making this thread unbearable.
I wouldn't be so sure about that. Their use of services is just a lot more abstract. Take a corporation that has a transportation element. Don't want to pay taxes? You'll just get billed directly for your semi trucks using the highway system. Take a company that does a lot of business travel. Get ready to pay 20% more for your airline tickets. How about any company that has an office. Get ready to pay 20% more on your utilities. Let's have real free market solutions for these people that don't want to contribute to a general government budget. I mean, I'm not literally advocating for this, but it is a fun hypothetical to consider.
Gotta give the Brzezinski clan credit. Foreign policy's been berry berry good to them. Meek-a's brother is in on the hustle too.
