Well i guess wenger was right. Spending money isnt the answer. He just refused to admit he was the problem.

Bellerin has been awful for ages now. Just absolutely terrible going forward and defensively he's bang average.

Didn't watch but sounds like another pile of pooh. I do vote however that Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days" becomes the new theme song at the Emirates.
So is Ozil gone?? Like really gone???

Bogeyman Pulis having a smile inside. Not just the win, but playing a part in getting his French nemesis out of the Prem once and for all.

Honestly, it looks like the players out there don't care.

This is the worst I've ever seen Arsenal play, and we've seen teams that started Chamakh and Bendtner.

What has he ever done to indicate he should be playing central midfield for Arsenal?

i might be thinking of 2010 - but that period holds a dark place in my memory

I remember getting up early to watch a game on Sky at my parents in NZ and it was just so dire and poor quality that i stopped watching games for a long time :D

I am guessing you are thinking the season after you sold Fabregas and Nasri and Adebayor.

You still had that lot (and the latter 2 were still motivated) along with RvP in 09.

If the players won't play for the manager, you have two choices: get rid of all of the players, or get rid of the manager. One of those options is much easier.

Option 3. Both. There are a lot of players there, due to the manager, not good enough to be at a club like Arsenal.

2016 must have been ages ago. I get it, people are frustrated. But let's not just say things to hear ourselves say them.

Didn't watch the match. All I can say is that the result is not at all surprising.

West Brom had 8 attempts on target to Arsenal’s 2. Arsenal made 658 passes to West Brom’s 130. The football we play is just sterile.

My feeling watching the game is that it was not obvious how Arsenal were planning to score

The Alexis goal was a nice example of diagonal switch

but most of the time there was no clear plan or tactical approach

Agreed. The only way they look like scoring is by accident.

The tactical structure of the team isn't any better than your average MLS team at this point. The defensive shape might even be worse.

The peak of this team was 2013 IMO

Wenger has squandered peak Ozil as well.
