I personally scoff at their lack of ambition when it comes to supporting teams that don't yet exist.

If I wasn't a Galaxy fan, I'd be following the New Westminster Sharktopi, the pride of a domed underwater city that plays in the Independent Republic of California Superpremiership.

I did consider Miami Beckham Vaporware, but I felt that might be going a little too far into the future.

 

Hopefully he learns to stay home. Wandering does not help.

I find Borg almost as bad as the referees, which is really sad since he has the benefit of multiple slow motion views. I disagree with maybe 1/3rd of his assessments after I watch his weekly vids. He does have the voice for it though. Anyway he was right that we should have had a pk when the guy stepped on McBeans foot in the box. Scary thing is if you watch the video Toledo is 5 feet away looking right at McBeans foot as it gets stepped on and still does nothing.

 

Simon Borg's MO is to be contentious. That's pretty much his role on Extra Time Radio (is he still on that?).

Nah, he hasn't been on it in about 2 years. Matt Doyle took his place and they occiasonally pull Calen Carr and another person or two from the MLS site in.

I've never quite understood going to a home game as a fan of another team to actively cheer for the visiting side that isn't the same team. I get that you hate the home team but why not wait when your team plays them?

 

Dissing Toledo. I think we all knew we were in trouble the minute Gio failed to show up with signed merch for him.

I think the Galaxy has had Gio signing stuff more than they have him training.

 

Yes. This is one of the changes. But he does still have to leave if he is not fit to continue. Grrr. I would have given him permission to leave the field. He could apparently walk on, but not off?

I've no raiders affiliation.

The vibe I get from raider nation pics though, is a slightly disturbing blend of bad-ass and psycho.

The pic of the black army gave me a vibe of people whose team went away on a wave of bollocks about authenticity and failure to co-opt a Chivas fan base, who are now desperate to latch onto something anti-Galaxy. [emoji4]
