I'll make an executive decision. Start next week. ur_land said he'd have the groups ready by Sunday.

OK - I am a little dense this morning. Start next week means we start Wednesday or next week means we start next Wednesday?

    Ok, here is my deal.

    1. I don't have the net at home at the moment.

    2. Going away for the weekend(Fri-Sun)

So whoever challenges me, please remain calm and send a ht-mail to me saying you are challenging me.

However if ur-Land can get the groups tonight, then I will challenge you asap and we will be good to go.

    That begs a question:

If a tree falls in Big Soccer, does anyone in HT hear it?

    :p

Well with four members on these boards that know GM-George by his first name, I think we'd feel obligated to tell him if you did anything like that. ;)

It is. I sent her a welcome message. I'd accept the challenge but, the BS Cup is approaching.

Wait until KS puts out the schedule, which should be soon after I post the groups, which should be in about 15 minutes. And I'm assuming heavy water FC should still be on the list of tourney teams, right?

    Raytown Rangers 82
    RiverHawks
    Villanova FC

    Group C
    Brown United
    Daverules FC
    FC Puddleduck
    revsfan21

Actually thinking about it, if we do this we should be able to get Heavy in it with the 5 groups, because 1 team each week will have a bye, so the first week, Heavy can have the bye in his group. So Duex if you are reading this, you're still in the cup, you just have a bye in the first round of group games.

I'll have a schedule up later tonight, and the website will be done some time this weekend. Give me a little while.

And how it will work, is the winner from the 5 groups will advance, along with the top 3 second place teams.

OK, but i've decided to throw everything I have at G's Goons. So maybe if there is a god and he does indeed love me I will have to either drop out of the BS cup or take a walkover. in week six.

That's your decision if you wanna take the walkover for one week or just drop out and take 8 walkovers. I'd prefer it if you only took the 1 if you beat Goons, and good luck doing it too. I'm rooting for you.

OK, here is the first week schedule home team listed first
    Group A
Alaska United SC vs. Alpine Valley United
Club Kaliber vs Dallas Red Knights
    Heavy Water FC bye

    Group B
    DCUnited vs. PB United
    Raytown Rangers 82 vs. RiverHawks
    Villanova FC bye

    Group C
    Brown United vs. Daverules FC
    FC Puddleduck vs. revsfan21
    Watertown United bye

    Group D
1844 Tote Kaninchen vs. Henderson United
Lawn Guyland Hoos vs. Pez United
    Redbread FC bye

    Group E
Alief FC vs. Flying Fish FC
    LiverPiscina FC vs. Mongrel FC
    winning connection bye

For those teams that have a bye this week, my suggestion would be to hook up with another team with a bye, at least for this week and play against one of them, that way you have the first bye taken care of, then if you want you can return the favor later and play them away the second time you have a bye. So get those friendlies set now.
