Jones looked good there, give him credit.

 

Union have looked better in the 2nd half thus far.

Jones got lucky, that was a complete breakdown in composure there.

 

here's where they lose it....

 

still dont understand why we travel 3000 miles and not use all three subs to where they can make an impact in a game like this

I don't have a good feeling about the final minutes here until the final whistle.

 

If we save a sub do we get four next week?

 

Bedoya doesn't have near enough influence on the game in the position and role Curtin now has him in.

 

Nothing sexy about this game, but I'll take the point.

 

Road point. That was a quality performance. Tactically sound, kept their shape. D. Jones has a good debut. Didn't look out of place at all. Can't wait to see more from Fafa.

 

The backline got a clean sheet. I think that says more about Vancouver than the U's defense.

 

Seems like that point was more of a function of Vancouver's toothless attack than anything the Union did.

 

Vancouver looked uninterested. Then again, so did we.

Hard to watch this after 7 years. Want more.

Three stars:

*** Rosenberry- saved the goal, but was shit otherwise.

** Blake-was beaten on the goal, but flew around otherwise.

*-(MotM): Jones-started off on turf with the moves of a newborn giraffe, but grew into his hooves. Not an atrocious maiden effort, which is more than I can say for most of them.

A point against some 2012 MLS throwaways is something I guess?

A point on the road in Vancouver is better than I expected. That pitch was embarrassing. Hopefully Simpson will settle quickly and have a solid season. He was poor tonight and man is he slow.

What's Bedoya's best position?

 

That was perhaps the most composed they have ever played in possession. Medunjanin and Jones are just so calm. And I'm all aboard the D. Jones hype train now.
