That kind of sums me up. As an Independent that was once a registered Republican since the 90's when I moved here initially, I have become less and less tolerant of the GOP. I don't excuse the left and their idiocies but when the right fucks up - I am first to call them out. That may be because I believe their hypocrisy to be border-line insulting to anyone with common sense and on top of that, I think most of those self-serving pricks are actual douchebags in real life. The Democrats on the other hand? Pretty freaking harmless...so I normally let them be.
Dad calls for investigation into Navy SEAL son’s death in Trump mission http://nypost.com/2017/02/26/dad-calls-for-investigation-into-navy-seal-sons-death-in-trump-mission/
So there's an article in Politico about Sean Spicer "cracking down on leaks coming out of the West Wing, with increased security measures that include random phone checks of White House staffers." The article includes this gloriously ironic line: As it was. Hence the article!
Exactly..... You comment did not say Nothing about race....But it is totally about race. DOG.WHISTLE......Google it!
I think he will if only because the administration already blew through Flynn. McMaster seems like an extremely bright guy who isn't afraid to say what he thinks. A lot of those people derive a certain amount of joy from being a pain in the ass. Not in an unprincipled way, but in a way in which they enjoy calling people out on their bullshit. They often don't suffer fools well, and well....McMaster works for a fool.
Have you always been kind of a dick? Because I don't remember that being the case, but maybe I wasn't paying that much attention.
I find it interesting that you think it's dickish to resist attempts to mischaracterize my post as race-based when it was anything but.
Finally a president that will stand up to the horror of Pineapple on Pizza. Go Iceland. http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/21/europe/iceland-president-pineapple-pizza-ban-trnd/ Seriously though, I don't mind pineapple on Pizza as long as you have bacon with it. It is great, even better than ham. Has anyone done the Hawaiian thing of Spam?
Maybe I interpreted the thread wrong, but I thought the main point was/is that by using rhetoric and word choice, you are giving people something to stand on when they espouse stupidity. Donald Trump didn't tell people to kill immigrants. But he spread fear over those who look south asian / middle eastern both regarding safety and jobs. He spread fear over immigrants and crime. It's why words matter, especially when there is a segment of the country that has never had to use critical thinking or reason beyond basic necessity.
Some are saying Steve Bannon may have had something to do with this botchery. I dunno for sure. But I'm open to a least a dozen congressional investigations.
Twitter can be pretty awesome sometimes too.... I'm a numbers guy, so here's some fun numbers:@PRyan has 57x as many followers as I do.My response has generated 6.5x more likes than his. pic.twitter.com/15LgAEICaQ— Charles Gaba ✡️ (@charles_gaba) February 26, 2017
Read my longer post in the Boloni's Trump Resistance Thread. I think it will explain a couple of things about why I responded the way I did (with a specific terminology). To me, it is the appearance in combination with the money. I fully agree. But we need to have a baseline before we lob the heavy artillery.
Because you ALWAYS try to separate race out and say race doesn't matter, even though it has been proven again and again and again that race does matter. Read my sig for clarification.
