    Watch Mourinho bring on Fellaini.

The other ********ing issue with Pogba and Herrera in midfield without a 6 is that it kills Pogba as a player and limits Herrera's link up play on the right flank. How can you sign one of the most skillful, creative midfielders in the world and basically play him as a holding midfielder? Hate Jose so much.

We have a load of issues to fix. Not sure how we can do it all. First change I would make is taking off Rojo. I would ask Lingard to start a little deeper as well as not to exert himself too much. If we hold the lead to the 60th, set Jesse free, drop Mata for Carrick and when Jesse tires, bring on Rashford.

The clear subs ought to be Darmian (would even accept AY tbh) in for Rojo. And bring in Carrick for Mata or even Lingard to gain more control in midfield and help out the defense.
Those 2 changes right now would go a long way in settling things down and take us home...

This is truly just another reminder on how desperate we are for Michael Carrick, and how ********ed we could be if we do not replace him as best as possible.

I've never seen much in Rojo's game before but he's been ridiculously poor today. Get him off the pitch. Ashley Young, Darmian, Blind...whoever has a shirt on get him on the pitch.

We want to add Greizzmann in the summer remember, get used to 2 man Pogba midfield.

He had a hand in the goal. Played a good pass to free Rojo.

Other than thst he's been useless.

I'm not saying I want to take him out but i can see why Jose would.

It seemed to me that Southampton put in twice the amount of effort our players did, and played with much more confidence. Hopefully Jose can give them a bollocking and set it right in the second half.

He has tracked back more than Mata has and offered more going forward than Mata. He was involved in a goal and might have had a chance if Zlatan's pass had been better. Compare that to what Mata has done.

The right choice. Maybe Pogba and Martial can hold Rojo's hand.

southampton looked dangerous there's no doubt they deserved to score. they should've been up 1-0 with that disallowed goal.. I couldn't see how that was offside tbh. United however is my team always has been, they're the reason i stayed up all night and as happy as i am that we're going into 2nd half up by a goal must say in the 1st im disappointed with our display despite showing moments of quality. we're far too easily letting them in to our back half.

Their goal was in part becuase Redmond runs in behind Herrera which Rojo comes narrow to cover leaving his man free to cross. Rojo is a problem sure, but main issue in the half is we are not covering the space in front of the back four - bad comms between back-four and Herrera/Pogba first half.

    Hopefully Carrick can fix.

Carrick in is a good start. Let's hope that by himself, he can solve some of the problems.

Again. I would trade this trophy to be rid of Rojo.
