Poor by Rojo but Bailly was awful as well. Completely lost his mark and was turned by a simple move.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Rojo should never be played at LB. his positioning is too poor. Darmian should play until Shaw is ready or until we buy a proper LB.

 

Carrick for Lingard asap

The way Martial is playing you'd think he'd be the first candidate for a sub.

Midfield is way too open. Too much confusion between Pogba and Herrera.

 

I'd drop Mata for Carrick.

 

If we take out Martial bye bye attacking threat, Lingard goal was also result of Martial play (I think).

 

Pogba and Herrera play like two midfielders that don't communicate with each other at all. They both press forward in defence at the same time leaving a massive passing lane open + space in front of the back 4. Herrera pressed forward and that resulted in the Soton goal. United's defensive organization without Carrick is dreadful. That's on Jose.
