I think Arsenal's ownership are perfectly happy with PL TV and the CL money every year. Lord knows sleezy Stan is happy with that revenue stream.

Wenger is doing exactly what they want of him. All the other big clubs there have tried a big change and gotten burned by it, some crashing out of Europe completely, so in a way, Wenger is granted amnesty from his low ceiling by having a high floor.

Would break my heart if he left without completing the job. You know that's the only reason he came back, he wanted to win that title he got so close to. He really deserves, and more than him as a coach alone, I think his Roma deserves it.

I want to say that Spalletti has one more year before he gets jaded. If we don't win anything this year (Scudetto, Coppa or Europa league), he will definitely give it one more try next season. But after that, I can see him throwing up his hands and thinking that he isn't the person for the job.

When you think about it, it is kind of surprising that Spalletti never coached in England or Spain. He left Roma after a very good tenure, went to Russia and then came back to Roma. I bet he will get his opportunity eventually. I just hope its after he brings home the title.

Clubs hire some donkeys to manage their clubs, so it is surprising that he didn't get a shout somewhere, but he could've been seen as a gimmick manager. He's obviously proven that to be false with us in the second go-round, so I'll be happy to keep him as long as he'll have us.

    From FI,

Tuttosport have suggested Spalletti will be the next Juventus Coach if Max Allegri goes to Arsenal.

“I didn’t understand the question and don’t know what to answer, so we’ll leave that there.”

    lol its happening...

Palotta has to offer something to keep him here but if we won't get the stadium, then he won't give a shit and will sell the club.

Tuttosport is pro-Juve. I would take anything written by them with a huge grain of salt.

Roma has to do everything in their power to keep Spalletti.

I've never seen Roma play this well, not even during the 10 game streak from Garcia.

The papers are saying we are looking at Sarri, who is currently at odds with DeLa, if Spalletti goes.

Spalletti has to stay. Even if means we have to sell someone to give him a giant raise.

I agree. We need to start a movement. If spalletti leaves for juve it will cement my belief that god hates roma fans and I'm done.

Spalletti 2.0 has the best points average of any Roma coach in history at 2.33 per game. A 105 points in 45 games, 33 wins, 6 draws, and 6 loses.

I do not think the problem is money, the problem is ambition. He wants to win trophies.

I'd be prepared to sacrifice Manolas, our last Greek, if needed. Luciano MUST stay.

Amazing. It is so frustrating to live in an era of total Juve dominance. 12 games left and the best we can hope for is for Roma to run the table, Juve to lose twice (once to Roma) and draw once, and Roma to win on goal differential.

Though Roma are well set up to get trophies in Europa League and/or Coppa Italia.

Well, it starts this weekend (or better yet, it started in earnest at Inter). Need to be 7 out come Monday. For the balance of the year, Juve makes quite a few trip to the top half of the table's home ground(s). Not saying, just saying

Rube goes to Napoli and Atalanta. Logically there is your 1 loss and 1 draw. The 3rd match is against us at the Olimpico and we need to win by a greater GD than 1 as they beat us 1 nil at the rube stadium.

Oh you wont find a counter argument there... but these are the only two teams that can do smthg. I think 7 points is still huge though.

That loss to Sampdoria was brutal

Any Roma game featuring Thomas Vermaelen is brutal.
