Concrete does not let water in. So when it rains where does it all go ? Im also willing to bet Roma has a shitty sewer system.
I'm fairly confident they have designed a runoff system that won't impact the river or surrounding area. Like I said, my original post was about the irony of it.
Yeah, I just read that a 25% cut in space gets this a lot closer to done, those towers your cousin referenced. It's happening! (Just probably not) http://romanews.eu/notizie-roma/sta...lio-del-25-delle-cubature-accordo-piu-vicino/
It is actually the opposite. The business park was included in the project to help finance all of the public works - including the new metro station and line extension - at the insistence of the previous regime at city hall so that there would be no public expenditure. It is worth noting that many of these essential public works have been neglected by successive administrations in Rome for several years.
Sure but don't kid yourself, the American owners will all get or at least want to get even more wealthier off of this thing. That is why they bought the club in the first place. They didn't buy the club to lose money.....
but that's not a bad thing. In fact that should be encouraged because as they get wealthier so does the club and that's all good. We had owners that owned the club for the sheer love of the club and that almost ended in disaster if this new group hadn't bought them
Roma is sponsoring a few kids to represent them in video game tournaments?!?! Ummmm... how about you all work on getting a sponsor so that, you know, we could buy an extra player in the real-live game. http://www.insideworldfootball.com/2017/02/16/roma-partner-fnatic-sign-pro-team-esports-play/
smart marketing move tbh... you'd be amazed at how many people become 'fans' of teams based solely on the latest edition FIFA
Yesterday it was decided by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs that the site at Tor di Valle cannot be built on because the Hippodrome grandstand is of historical value and a binding order to prevent building there was approved. Therefore Roma will have to choose another site in order to build a stadium. What a pity no one mentioned that since 2011 when the site was chosen.
OMG, what a cesspool. You would think the city would approve the stadium if for nothing else but to have that landfill cleaned up.
Interesting survey. Seems that most citizens are for the project and believe it will help the city and the economy. Factor out the Lazio fans that would be against it no matter what and I'd say it's fairly popular . http://www.forzaroma.info/news-as-r...tr-il-61-dei-romani-e-favorevole-allimpianto/
I and completely and totally confused by this process. Every day there is another official of some sort coming out saying something. Who has the final say? What person or agency has to giver their stamp of approval for them to start breaking ground?
