Yeah I don' t agree. He runs well for a big dude. How fast are other famous real center forwards like van nistelrooy, borghetti, Klose, our own McBride? It's requires skill, fight, quickness and timing. It is a position less dependent on speed. I saw no deficiencies today. He pretty much has to be MOM today.

Beating a dead horse here but, wow their defense is terrible. How do you not make a very good attempt at replacing Hummels? They resigned Goetze and spent a decent amount of Schurrle if I remember correctly which should've been spent on a good CB? They won't be able to put much pressure on BM until they have a reliable defense again.

Buying Schurrle and Goetze was overkill, especially at their price points. BVB is truly missing a legit 8, which could've been bought for either the price of Mario or Andre. Poor asset management

We're about to find out. Mom says I have to help with rent or she won't keep stocking the basement fridge with Red Bull and Mountain Dew.

Definitely going to echo everyone's sentiments above: Dortmund need to upgrade the center of their defense. Maybe John Brooks...

The issue with Dortmund recently is that while they had previously been giving up a lot of goals, they were scoring more, so it wasn't as much of an issue.

As of now, the goals aren't flying in like they were, and they are giving up soft goals every single game.

Probably. According to Boyd that tattoo wasn't made for that celebration, it just kind of came together.

I don't watch a whole lot of BVB games but PEA didn't look to into the game. He looked mentally out of the game all day unless that's his normal demeanor.

Well, I leave it at that, because other considerations make my head hurt: how that eye might line up with the presumed eye on his other bicep, the fact that it is a feline/reptilian iris, but with eyelashes, etc. or even that a cyclops would have lousy depth perception and probably couldn't latch onto a pass like that to save his life let alone score a goal.

I'm gonna gently suggest you're putting a smidge too much thought into the whole "footie player with a cool tat" motif. Just something to consider...

    In Boyd's own words:

“I know the artist was good,” Boyd said of his recent experience to the tattoo parlor. “I told him I wanted to get crocodile skin. I didn’t plan to get an eye. He said: ‘I think an eye would fit very well.’ I said: ‘You know what? Just do it.’ I trusted him."

"When he finished I stood in the mirror and was like, ‘What am I supposed to be doing? Holding it to my head?’ And then The Cyclops was born.”
