That's good, I like Lilley and was dismayed that he stepped away. I understood why, but I'm glad he's back and hope he's recharged and ready to go. Good man.

Dos Santos signed with Ottawa Fury. Can we afford to pay anyone? http://www.uslsoccer.com/news_article/show/723297?referrer_id=2333971
That is too bad, he was the most dangerous attacker the Rhinos had. Granted he had the habit of doing something really dumb every now and then, but still... Someone else went to Ottawa after last season, I can remember who. Looks like Lilly will replace him with someone that we have never heard of, that seems to be the M. O.
Dos Santos wants to be the star forward for a team and he has the talent for it at this level. If Rochester played a more open and attacking style then Duba could have so many more goals than his 16 regular season USL goals over the past two years. I'm not sure it's entirely down to money as Ottawa has been shedding costs and cutting corner in recent years. This stings but I can't exactly fault dos Santos if he thinks it's better for his career.
http://www.rhinossoccer.com/news_article/show/732679?referrer_id=2439299 ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Rhinos announced on Friday the club had exercised contract options on 10 players from its 2016 squad, including USL Golden Glove winner Tomas Gomez and All-League selections Kenardo Forbes and Joe Farrell.
A common comment, but it's rather quiet in there. I know FC Buffalo's coach has joined the Rhinos. Any other news?
No player signings yet. The schedule has been released. Other than that, and the former FC Buffalo coach, not a lot to report. Oh yea, stadium name changed.
Rhinos sign Antonio Correia who most recently played for Sporting Clube da Praia. He is a 23 year old from Cape Verde.
I'm not sure if football in Cape Verde is professional. At least some of the clubs in the island-level competition are not professional but the clubs that compete in the inter-island league might be. There's some connection between the league and the Rhinos as this is the third consecutive year that Rochester has recruited from Cape Verde (Duba in 2015, Guilavogui in 2016) and mid-season signging Gaossou Bakayoko is reportedly playing in Cade Verde now.
Very interesting Q&A with Mark Washo, Rhino Chief Business Officer. Major points, they are trying hard to rebuild burnt bridges with the community. Owners are soccer fans, unlike the previous ones.
