full schedule supposed to come in January, but Goff is reporting our opener. 811050438829162496 is not a valid tweet id
Hopefully, it will be the last year SKC has to play games at RFK. I've been to a couple of games there, including the 2012 season opener between SKC vs DCU. Crappy venue.
Ah shit. I have tickets for Ben Folds w/ The Kansas City Symphony Orchestra on March 11th. That's going to be the home opener, isn't it?
i bet it'll be march 12th (sunday). side question: have you seen ben folds with an orchestra before? i love the guy and most of his music (though i haven't seen a show of his in awhile), but i would worry about how his singing sounds with an orchestral backing. honestly, he's a terrible singer, but it somehow goes well enough with his own stuff. with an orchestra, though, i fear it may make him being off-key very noticeable.
It'll certainly be the one time I root for a Sunday game all season. I haven't seen him with an orchestra, I have seen him live twice. A few of my friends caught him last year in St. Louis with an orchestra and said the show was fantastic.
Full schedule is out, we're actually home on Saturday's now! 10 Saturday home games, 4 Sunday, 2 Wednesday, 1 Thursday. For those looking for Royals dates. SKC and the Royals are in Texas in late April.
Someone pm me the away ticket info, please. I've been out of the country for four years, just moved back to DC.
It's almost like they listened. Lots of good changes. 10 Saturday to 4 Sunday is a really, really good start. FS1 taking over Friday games, and Univision adding in one Saturday game a week? Yes please. That should mean a minimum of four MLS matches on national TV every week, no? Good step up. Especially when they have rivalry weeks and stuff, and they air three in a row and stuff. And, what, down to four triple headers, as far home and away and away or whatever keeps happening?
Because I don't want to type it out again, Royals times came out today, here are the conflicts for the 19 days SKC and the Royals are both supposed to be on FSKC. Btw, here are all the day conflicts between #SportingKC and the Royals. pic.twitter.com/Kk9AecImON— Mike (@downthebyline) January 19, 2017
