Haven't been paying close enough attention, but has one of these kids gone over the clock for the next team? That'll just be awkward
If Andrew Hauptman pays down more than the entire salary of the team with GAM/TAM, does MLS have to write him a check?
Danladi, Ebobisse, and Robinson were really the ones driving all that trade chatter. Since they went in the top 4, it's been business as usual at this draft. No other rumblings of teams moving up
D.C. United turned down trade offer from Red Bulls to keep No. 12 pick and select Chris Odoi-Atsem from Maryland. #MLSSuperDraft #terps— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) January 13, 2017
Sounders pick $75k in GAM with the 16th pick.. I like him. he's been a solid player in college. A good right foot, quick feet, and can hold up the ball well. He'll be a solid addition to the team and will serve the team well.
Rapids get a guy that went through one of the other Denver-based USSDA teams, Colorado Rush. Sam Hamilton out of DU.
It's probably enough to put a dent for that awful Armenian signing. The spin he put on that signing is worthy of being fired.
As an FCD fan, I'm pretty excited that pretty much all the guys I thought FCD had a chance at, are all still on the board.
Oooooh. Great pick for FCD there. Needed a 4th central midfielder to add to Ulloa/Acosta/Grueso. Not expecting Hayes to be there.
Jacori Hayes, a box to box midfielder. He actually fills an area of need for FCD, as they need some midfield depth for CCL-group and USOC.
How many of these guys actually get first team minutes? My guess is this round is full of guys who sign with the first team but play all year on the USL side. Not that anything is wrong with it, but maybe a scarf with both teams logos on it would be a better idea...
