Well the Commissioner didn't put the first team on the clock until 13 minutes after the hour, so that's the bulk of the difference.

 

They didn't start drafting right at 1pm (MST), though.

 

Well, Garber spoke for like 10 minutes before Minnesota went on the clock, so there's that too

Chris Odoi-Atsem is a hell of an athlete, and had a superior NCAA career.

I'm not convinced I understand that pick.

They clearly needed to draft in that position, though. So positionally speaking that was a nice selection for them to fill a need.

 

Atlanta pick Julian Gressel. Do they still have open international slots?

 

Hmmmm.... Atlanta take the German, MF Gressel from Providence College. Wondering if this pick is traded, believe they only have 1 int'l slot left?

 

Columbus takes Niko Hansen.

 

They may stash him, Otoo, or Willams down in Charleston for a the year and open up a slot that way.

 

Does he play?. Honest question.

I'm wary when the only good attributes I hear from a soccer player are his athletic abilities.

 

Good point. Otoo especially looks like he might be a candidate for that.
