They've all known about this all along! Yep. Stay tuned. https://t.co/7wUNYMvzrE— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) January 10, 2017
Maybe he could have tried just a little harder. Like, say, making this stuff public before the election.
I thought we'd crossed the rubicon when he was talking about the size of his todger during a presidential debate. NOW I look back to that and think, 'Ah! Happy times '
Wait, we have a guy named Sater sounds like satyr just a couple of posts down from prostitutes and water sports. Who is writing this crap?
I'm just hoping someone at google changes the search parameters for the hashtag #GoldenGate PDQ so any little tots trying a search for a famous historical landmark aren't scarred for life.
So many things making sense now! Third, precisely because it is being taken seriously, it is—despite being unproven and, in public anyway, undiscussed—pervasively affecting the broader discussion of Russian hacking of the election. CNN reported that Senator John McCain personally delivered a copy of the document to FBI Director James Comey on December 9th. Consider McCain’s comments about the gravity of the Russian hacking episode at last week’s Armed Services Committee hearing in light of that fact. Likewise, consider Senator Ron Wyden’s questioning of Comey at today’s Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, in which Wyden pushed the FBI Director to release a declassified assessment before January 20th regarding contact between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. (Comey refused to comment on an ongoing investigation.) So while people are being delicate about discussing wholly unproven allegations, the document is at the front of everyone’s minds as they ponder the question: Why is Trump so insistent about vindicating Russia from the hacking charges that everyone else seems to accept? https://lawfareblog.com/about-explosive-trump-story-take-deep-breath
35 page PDF published by Buzzfeed on Trump is not an intelligence report. Style, facts & dates show no credibility.https://t.co/twa8pJMMtP— WikiLeaks (@wikileaks) January 11, 2017 Also, Wikileaks says Trump is totally cool, so nothing to worry about. https://t.co/Z73SuYsjKa— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) January 11, 2017
RIck himself said that the Republicans can survive a Hillary presidency. That said, he's an ardent never Trumper, he got a lot of flack from his own party for not falling in line.
Two points. 1) At the very least this might make him circumspect if he goes after the wrong people inside the GOP. Who KNOWS what else is out there. 2) Haven't you got work in the morning? It's quarter to 2 HERE, so...
FAKE NEWS - A TOTAL POLITICAL WITCH HUNT!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 11, 2017 You mad, bro?
I wonder if the #goldengate part of this is bs intended to undermine the credibility of whatever turns out to actually be true. I mean, Trump denies saying things he's on tape saying. He's going to deny every bit of this, and if/when it turns out he didn't pay pros to pee on a bed, Trumpeteers won't believe that the Russian mob has been loaning him money for 15 years. Even though in my hypothetical it will be totally true.
He then links to a fake news site 'BuzzFeed Runs Unverifiable Trump-Russia Claims' #FakeNews https://t.co/d6daCFZHNh— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 11, 2017
At worst (if/when it is proven to be fake news), the entire #goldenshowers saga shows why the hack and Wikileaks "could" have effected an election and why brushing it off is so stupid. At the same time, twitter hasn't gotten this many jokes off in a long time. Is it just me or does the Wikileaks, UK Russian Embassy, and Trump twitter use a lot of the same style, syntax, and word choice.
That was kinda my point in an exchange we had a little earlier: if the Republicans do turn on Trump, they're going to turn HARD. Like once the tribe finally accepts that a particular member is actually a witch that ************************ is getting burned alive.
One President is giving a farewell address while the other is tweeting about allegations that he paid Russian hookers to pee on a bed.
The real victim is R. Kelly. That dude has been trying to move on from golden showers forever and his name is trending in 2017 because of it.
And lose the opportunity to save a fetus, or deny some black person adequate health care, or pass a tax cut for alleged job creators? Never. Not even if they become a national humiliation. Can you give me an example of one time when the tribe turned on one of their own? I can't think of it. The Republicans are the Bolsheviks of our time. They call themselves the majority, even though they're not, and they will do literally anything to get their way because they represent the majority. Come to think of it, the Dems are pretty decent Menshevik stand-ins too.
