My neighbor had a bad case and was on antibiotics for three months before it cleared up. If you see the tick bite you can take two doses of doxycycline within 72 hours and it prevents infection. There is a laboratory not far from my house that can do a Lyme test on the tick and let you know within 24 hours whether it was positive for the bacteria. The tick I recovered was positive.

How many days/weeks/months do you have from the day you're bitten to the day when antibiotics wont work anymore??

I'm not sure that is really known. The current treatment guidelines are HERE. Early diagnosis is key as one can take oral antibiotics for a short period of time and be free of the disease. If it goes on for a longer period of time then intravenous antibiotic therapy is required (this is what my neighbor had to go through and her course of treatment was for six months). Best thing is to wear appropriate protective clothing when working in the garden where Lyme ticks are prevalent.

  5. I use a gas can fire thrower. On my way through vegetation I burn all the bugs in my path to ashes. Once in Alberta they had to evacuate a major part of the state, but they were free from nasty bugs for quite a while.

Eric Pieters was one of the better players for Stoke vs Liverpool. BMI was also average to decent considering how bad his starting partner was. Certainly deserves a call-up.

BMI's Porto contract is till 2018, I hope he gets a decent English club like Everton or Southampton, he is gonna be 27 in a couple of months & some people mature late, I think he maybe one of these guys

Faded away in 2 half. I mean going forward.defensively I rate him the best at the moment ,but don't think Danny will start him over his boy.

Pieters was pretty good v Liverpool, esp in the first half, even had his first assist of the season - but then again they let in 4 goals! so I don't get the call for him being the best defensively, or deserving a call-up on merit.
iirc versus all the top teams Stoke has played they allowed 3 or 4 goals.

imo Danny Blind would get more scorn for playing Pieters over Blind..

The LB starting choice is getting interesting!
I think I'd still prefer Blind/ Kongolo/ Zeegelaar/ and even Ake over Pieters.
There is also Haps coming into the discussion.. and unpredictable van Aanholt, who also may not be the most effective player if we need to break down a side sitting back, and not so reliable defensively.
And can we rule out Willems and Buttner, once so promising but seemingly lost?

The sun?? They are always blowing things up. A lot of footballers smoke shisha and play at high levels and it's not like it's a daily thing he does

    People need to relax

Depay never had a father around, so I have to cut him some slack.

What he really needs is a strong coach who will light a fire under his ass, doesnt put up with his bullshit, and will get the most out of his extraordinary talent

incredibly hard on him not like he's going around raping people he went out on a night with some friends

And if his personal choices dictated his football and ability then guys like Benzema would be shit

You can even add Brenet who started with NT...

Blind isn't a very exciting LB and is very irregular, Kongolo has been doing good but he is a bit too heavy for playing on the sides imo, I prefer quick full backs.

Ake hasn't been doing very good as LB, Van Aanholt is a winger for me, he can't defend shit...

Notice that mose of these players aren't original LB's...We are being stuck with a choice among 10 average LB's while it would be much better to have only two or three reliable options like it was back then.

Yes I agree with you - except with Ake, actually he has not been playing LB this season.. but, had done it all of last season with Watford and I thought was pretty decent, as good defensively as Pieters but offers more going forward and is obviously more versatile..

You found Ake pretty decent and I found him not very good, there's no contradiction actually :)

Fact is that we don't have a very good reliable LB.

Aha, my mistake - when you said Ake hasn't been doing very good at LB I assumed you were speaking about his current state, not last season.
Anyway I see your points, btw I'm not saying Ake should be our LB.. just that I prefer him to Pieters!

In terms of depay, we chalk his first season at united down to being new to england and united generally struggling although he had a few goodgames and scored a few games. Now mourinho doesnt have a great reputation in dealing with young players (which may be fiar or unfair depending on who you talk to) but its interesting that the likes of rashford and martial have gone backwards this season. If memphis is to go on loan, he should be looking at a tottenham rather than an everton (who currently look average).

Van dijk against spurs showed why i think hes overrated, was caught out for alli's header and constantly lost it whilst dribbling out of defence.

Blaming van Dijk for being caught out on that goal is a bit harsh for me.. the cross was deflected directly into Alli's path iirc
Maybe not his best game, but still most recoveries and interceptions in the game, not to mention heading in a goal. But fair enough if he's not your style. ;)

Some news, van Ginkel is back to PSV is confirmed.

Blind starts for Man Utd again at LB for the second game in a row.

Yeah but he still looked very slow to react to it. Van dijk sent off today. Still being linked with a big move, maybe he'll improve around top players.
