Dodik owes Russia a lot of money so they'll probably keep it. RS thinks Russia is a credit card you never have to pay back.

As the article says, the money will be divided between the two entities, Brcko district, and the state. That's usually what happens in cases like this. In theory, that's all good. In practice, the money will go straight to the pockets of the political leaders.

Why have we not created our own "kupus spring"?

For ******** sake - can't be that hard? Obeća im 5 konzerve paštete, 5 komada suho meso, litar rakije svaku sedmicu - pesplatna treba svaki mjesec - wala!

3 million poor people in your pocket. Trump basically did it and got 17 million.

Yes, sadly. But as the article says, even if you're at the top of your class and even if you did things the right way, without political connections and without paying off people (and thus, compromising all your principles), it's tough to get a job in that country. So why waste year after year waiting to get a job if you can just apply your skills in a much more advanced country like Germany? You'd do the same if you were in that position. It's easy to glorify that country from the outside when you visit it once in a while. For anybody to be successful there, you have to be ruthless and you have to embrace the corruption. I have a number of relatives in Tuzla that are doctors and other medical professionals. And even though they'd deny it if you asked them, I know for a fact they accept extra payments and gifts from poor patients because that's just how it's done. And if you are young medical school graduate and if you happen to believe that this form of local corruption is wrong, what do you do? Wait for a miracle to get a job? No. You get the hell out and create a future for yourself.

Can't blame them for wanting to leave. Whats interesting is the state is paying for so much of this training and to add classes and professors. Also later they have to pay more to send people abroad for treatment which is unavailable in Bosnia due to specialists leaving. You would think that with how much its costing them, they would try to do something about it.

    Trump is Jesus

GOP: “Merry Christmas to all! Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind. Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King. We hope Americans celebrating Christmas today will enjoy a day of festivities and a renewed closeness with family and friends.

Jesus is a loser, believe me. He goes around Palestine on foot. He doesn't even have his own plane. Give me a break! And then gets himself crucified by a bunch of Jews. Sad! #MakeSaviorsGreatAgain

I know we shouldn't be distracted by this stuff, but this Christmas greeting Trump tweeted is so indicative of him.

It's just a screencap of him walking by a Christmas tree, having a fist in the air and with some sort of halfsmile. You'd think he'd have his family included in a proper Christmas greeting, maybe even recording a short message. But no, it's Trump with a fist. It really has nothing to do with Christmas other than there happens to be a Christmas tree he was walking by. Two things that make up his personality is that he's lazy and that he only thinks about himself. This greeting is perfect example of that.

The American Embassy in Sarajevo refused to issue Dodik a visa to attend Trump's inauguration. He's been accused of paying $10,000 for the tickets. Igor Crnadak, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina said that Dodik "received no official invitation from the U.S. administration".
