i found 17+ purecontrol with the same upper of pogba and co at adidas store here, different from "release edition". weird from adidas.
wait what? Where are ya located at. The shops at my place are all using that release edition. also, the people in China who have gotten them are all also using the 'release' edition ones. I'm fairly sure that that update will come soon, especially since Soccerbible have commented on it as well. I'll be really really annoyed if the update comes so soon in January and it'll just be super underhanded and a pure money grabbing move by Adidas if that happens, releasing an update after just 1 month. On a side note, hope Jaymike hasn't been killed by Adidas for hinting at the updated Purecontrols! Footyheadlines now quoting him on their article lol.
Wow, the Adidas Kids Ace Tango 17+ Purecontrol is almost sold out in all sizes, amazing, 110GBP and it's madness.
Right now, there are no soccer shoes available for customization on Adidas site. Maybe a sign for something good to come.
Anybody know when the purechaos turf boot will release in the United States? http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prod...rainer-Red-White-Core-Black-144383.aspx?spr=1
so looking at this pic i noticed in the back a volt X boot that appears to be of the knitted variety. not sure if this has been found yet but yeah could be interesting! thanks to tepy.pl for the pic too
soccerbible has a new article about manias and another about beckhamania. great read. now even more excited for the mania rerelease. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Similar to the Viper Pack finish, if I can recall. Which is good, because I liked that upper far more than than the standard one for what ever reason... Stellar Pack upper is still king however.
FootyHeadlines is claiming one piece TechFit Cmpression upper, which would indicate some type of mesh/knit/fabric - hard to tell what that means because the definition of those created uppers changes with the wind. I think this could take the boot over the edge in performance and fit/feel. The biggest issue I had with the boot on foot was the stiff upper vs. the collar/unitongue and some heel slip phenomenon when walking. A texture and material change could really sure that up. Felt like the synthetic upper was working against the softer fabric vs. working with it.
Seeking some advice on sizing of the Gloro 16.1 I've always been a UK8 in Adidas, but today I tried on some AG Gloros in 7.5. They fit me very well, apart from feeling a bit tight in the toebox, where they put quite a lot of pressure on one side of my big toe especially, causing pain whenever pressure was applied from above (might be an issue with a nail). Can I expect them to stretch a bit, or should I go for my usual size 8?
FootyHeadlines usually pull tech specs out of their ass to make up for missing information, there's not much info you can gather from a blurry image leaked out to you. So I think it may be the same but with a different finish. That said, I agree that the X16.1 was way to stiff for a boot of its caliber, needed to be thinner and more responsive. Kinda killed it for me, felt to loose and bulky for my liking. Comfortable still, but touch and performance wise it was disappointing.
they will stretch no doubt. for me I want the stretch on the big toe side. far too many boots leave my pinky toe and entire 5th metatarsal off the soleplate
Agree that they pull garbage out of their ass, along with diabolical misuse of grammar and syntax, but that aside they do claim to have seen a spec sheet on this one and the photos look like a one piece upper w/o obvious transition zones between conflicting material. With that said, I hope FH is correct b/c it could make this boot a 9/10 instead of being a 6/10. Also I like the idea of fixing the upper's flaws vs. a totally new boot for 17. More like the old days were you got a few tweaks if needed and some colorway updates in the boot's second year.
about the Gloro sizing, I usually wear 41 EU, and sometimes 42. Which is let's say equivalent to 7.5 - 8 UK. so 3 months ago I told my friend to buy me a Gloro 16.2 size 42 EU from Germany. When he came here to Tunisia and I tried the boot it was like two sizes down, it was painful as hell. Now, I measured my feet, the length is 27.5 cm, which means by the adidas size chart here that I should wear size 9 UK. So I decided to buy a Gloro 16.1, my cousin went to Norway yesterday for a work mission and I hope he find it for me with that size.
If your foot measures 27.5 cm, then you'll probably want to go for a shoe that is Japanese 28 cm = US 10 = UK 9. So yeah, looks like UK 9 would be good for you.
