Ah.. I'd forgotten that one.. was that 2-0? Rafa, I try to be fair.. but those lads are full of themselves. I said I wouldn't have a go until we won in Columbus.. I respect them, they're not sht.. I even like most of the footballers they have.. their fans are shtbirds, though.. Sent from my VS870 4G using Tapatalk
1-0 but I believed they should have gotten a tie at least. That being said that was the odd result in the end. And I don't like the US team at all, so I was just pointing it out but it's all good.
Nae, I always like that you look at the football without bias.. They were ok in that tourney.. anybody can catch a 4-nil from the argies. It happens.. I like some of their footballers.. fck, I even find jozy a likeable dude.. I can't deal with their supporters, though. I can't.. Sent from my VS870 4G using Tapatalk
Unlike Landycakes, JK can "LMAO" his way to a nice severance package and a WC title, among other things, to his name..
I didn't want him canned I do find him an insufferably arrogant douche.. probably a decent mentality, for a player, but he had several "no mames" moments, as manager.. I'm sure he'll get another nice job anyway, should he want.. Sent from my VS870 4G using Tapatalk
I still think it's hilarious that US fans used Pulisic in a banner despite him not doing shit to Mexico. Hell Donovan would have made sense. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Lol. It's hilarious how gringos think he is their savior... He hasn't done shit with BVB as of recently either... Pinches gringos tan pero bien pendejos... For those that don't know, Thanksgiving is a holiday where Americans give thanks for Christian Pulisic saving US soccer— Fear the Wall (@FearTheWall) November 24, 2016
MLS is straight up dumb for their rapid expansion plans of late. Ffs, the NBA and NHL have had to fold teams somewhat recently. Even assuming it will work financially, what will it do for their already thin talent pool? For every Giovinco they have 10 Alan No-names.
Typical sour grapes from US fans. This is about the U20 WWC match, which saw an extremely talented and skillful North Korea side beat a typical, overrated, kick and chase, US team to reach the finals of tournament. I watched the match. It was clear that the Koreans were under 20. In fact, most of them looked under 17. http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/2016-u-20-wwc-semifinal-v-korea-dpr-pre-pbp-post.2037140/page-7 BrooklynSoccer MiLLeNNiuM LMAO at this fool. Everyone knows that Asian women age very well compared to other melanin deficient people. I swear this is the most obnoxious fan-base ever.
Not surprising to see them struggle. Title IX gave U.S. women's football a head start over most of their competitors. It provides parents with the opportunity to leverage their daughters' expensive youth sports activities into a lucrative athletic college scholarship. College athletics, though, like most other U.S. sports, focusses excessively on athleticism. Male and female youth footballers start playing the game mostly on full-size pitches, which benefits power and stamina but does little to nothing for technique and tactics. While this was never enough to make an impact on the much more advanced men's game, it carried U.S. women's football a long way in a still fledgling sport on a global scale. The further the women's game develops, the more difficult it will become for these U.S. kick & rush teams. As far as their fans' notorious whining in defeat is concerned, it's just another popping noise of their "exceptionalism" and "preeminence" bubble. At least we didn't have to hear about vandalized gas stations and derogatory remarks towards opponents and the host country again.
