News from various U17 teams in the B-Jgd today: Business as usual for Werder. As we win our 12th match in a row to begin the campaign, after beating Dynamo Dresden. While for RB Leipzig, the 2001'er Fabrice Hartmann bagged a brace in their win vs Holstein Kiel. Oliver Issa Schmitt is gradually rounding back into form again for Köln. The early riser from last year, scored his second of the season today since returning from injury. Jann-Fiete Arp scored 4 for HSV in their win vs Hansa Rostock.
Gisdol also called up both 16 year olds Jann-Fiete Arp and CB. Tobias Knost to train with the HSV senior team earlier this week. http://www.mopo.de/sport/hsv/youngs...sv-trainiert-ja-ein-16-jaehriger-mit-25058456
Hany Mukhtar is open towards a Hertha BSC return in the future: "I've played here for 13 years. This club is very important to me. Hertha are always an option for me. Pal Dardai I still know from the U17 days. He is an outstanding coach. It is important, however, that I play regularly. No matter where." Although, Brondby currently have a purchase option on his loan from Benfica. He's been doing well as mentioned by his coach Alex Zorniger, and has 4 goals with 3 assists in 12 games in the Danish league. http://www.bz-berlin.de/berlin-sport/hertha-bsc/hany-mukhtar-hertha-ist-immer-eine-option-fuer-mich
Looks like Yannick Gerhardt will continue to be Wolfsburg's starting LB. Ricardo Rodriguez, who's been played as a CB now by Valerien is drawing interest from both AC and Inter Milan. And is a candidate to be moved this upcoming January. However, even with Gerhardt at LB they still have bit of a logjam at that position. Jannes Horn needs more regular playing time. Which is a similar situation to Maxi Mittelstädt at Hertha, with Plattenhardt ahead of him. Wolfsburg also have the highly rated Gian-Luca Itter in their youth ranks.
Klopp is reportedly interested in bringing Jonathan Tah to Liverpool and forming a central defensive partnership with Joel Matip. http://www.90min.com/de/posts/41027...p-bundesliga-star-im-visier-von-juergen-klopp 797733893805838336 is not a valid tweet id
http://www.bz-berlin.de/berlin-sport/hertha-bsc/arne-maier-ist-pal-dardais-naechstes-juwel Arne Maier is Pal Dardai's next jewel U17 national player Arne Maier played 45 minutes in the test match against Regionalliga side Viktoria 1889. The coach is thrilled by the midfielder and hopes even to an early contract extension. When Arne Maier (17) pushes the ball forward with great strides, coach Pal Dardai always snaps his tongue with enthusiasm. Coach: "The ball control by Arne is excellent. He's an absolute exception, I know he's on the list for scouts from all over the world." That is why Maier will also extend his contract with Hertha in January 2017 - when he turns 18. For Dardai, the U17 national player will get his chance soon. Dardai: "He has his strengths in the midfield, and is incredibly present in the game. He's already doing things that can not be learned. He only has to increase his defensive work." Hertha's next jewel will be going to their training camp in Mallorca (January 7th to 14th). Dardai has known the top talent since his work as a U15 coach for the club. "Arne was so good in youth that he always had to play with the older ones."
The U18s B-team already won 3-2 versus Ireland. http://www.dfb.de/news/detail/u-18-gewinnt-32-gegen-irland-157719/
It's a shame that Gerhardt and Gian-Luca Itter play for the same club. One of the two should leave for another Bundesliga club and both should get regular playing time at LB. There is no doubting his quality.
Nice long article about Janelt and Touré and their punishment. http://www.mz-web.de/sport/fussball/rb-leipzig/sanktionen-zweifel-an-hotelbrand---strafen-fuer-janelt-und-touré-verhaeltnismaessig--24984314 It's a pity that Janelt's attitude sucks. He had a lot of potential. He was very dynamic with very good first touch, could play great diagonal balls and could score from distance. He was like a German Paul Scholes at youth level.
According to Bild, Dortmund are willing to offer 15 Mio + Nuri Sahin to Gladbach this winter in exchange for Mahmoud Dahoud. http://www.ligainsider.de/mahmoud-dahoud_2735/bvb-angebot-inklusive-sahin-163733/
Low says -Newcomer Benjamin Henrichs: He is absolutely capable of playing a good and important role for us in the next few years. -Leon Goretzka’s qualities: He is one of the most talented players in his age group. He has a very good technique with and without the ball and has a brilliant personality. The most important thing for him is that he is not held back with injuries.
A pair of victories for the even age groups. The U20s won 4-0 vs Poland, with goals by Benny Gimber, Philipp Ochs, Maxi Mittelstädt, and Fabian Reese. While the U18s continue with another positive result despite not having many of the usual first choice call ups. They won 2-1 vs the Netherlands, with goals by Timothy Tillman again and Torben Müsel.
Ankle injury for Arne Maier. Ffs Alex Baumjohann what are you doing idiot.... http://www.bz-berlin.de/berlin-spor...-arne-maier-bei-zusammenprall-schwer-verletzt
Chance for Dahoud to get back into Gladbach's starting XI, as Kramer will be suspended for the Derby against Köln. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...tikel_neue-chance-fuer-derby-held-dahoud.html
Gisdol and HSV management are looking at Finn Porath as an option for the left-wing position, after making positive impressions during training. Might be a hint for this weekend. http://hsv24.mopo.de/2016/11/16/youngster-porath-im-gisdol-fokus.html
Hannover 96 are in the market for a new LB this winter. With 1860 Munich's Maxi Wittek being mentioned as a potential candidate. Likewise, this could free up space in Sechzig's lineup for their '98er Kilian Jakob who made his first pro start earlier. http://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/han...iger-schon-im-winter-48792034.bildMobile.html
