Yeah, I've been watching CA come in. Last I checked, only half the precincts were reporting numbers (not full counts, just preliminary ones). And the ballots can trickle in by main until I think next week. So for both reasons you don't even really know what percentage of the ballots are outstanding. More, Clinton kicked Trumps ass in California. She probably will win the popular vote because of it. Which makes things ever so much worse in a way. I guess we're all in for an experience now!
Your party's arrogance was your downfall. Perhaps Democrats will tone down the arrogance moving forward. Maybe they will with Harry Reid gone. But I doubt it.

At least in the US you have the midterm elections ; in France for the sake of "coherence" parlementary elections are carried just after the presidential ones now... So a heavily presidential regime gets an assembly that basically licks the guy's crotch for the whole mandate. Not much to hope then except expressing your frustration in local elections when things turn bad. Anyways... Quo Vadis America ? America...
