I know the Whites have a Carling Cup match, but I saw a good read on ther FulhamFC.com website from Tony Gale about the State of Fulham and the game with Tottenham. I like what he is saying about how it is not as bad as fans think, but as I have said, we need some results soon. Hopefully Tottenham will ber a team Fulham can tie or beat.

Well, two days away from the Spurs match. A big win last night in the Carling Cup should boost the condience of the Whites a bit. However, Tottenham, after scoring only 6 goals in the EPL thus far, exploded for 4 on the road against Bolton in their Carling Cup match yesterday. Both teams should have a lot of confidence going into this match.
A sad fact is that Blackburn is the only team in the EPL to give up more goals than Fulham so far. Fulham have given up 19. What formation would you like you like to see on Saturday? I am in favor of the 4-4-2. Lineups?

THE FORMATION BETTER BE A 4-4-2 WITH COLE AND MCBRIDE (Sir, yes sir). On second thought I'll take a 4-4-2 with Cole and anyone else!!! It worked last night and we got rolling when the formation changed...

It will be a tough game but Fulham can pull out the win...

I have a feeling that Fulham are gonna win this one 1-0 on a goal by Steed Malbranque in the second half. I look for the 4-4-2 to be played. My lineup is as follows:

    Eddy
    Volz, Knight, Rehman, Boca
    Steed, Diop, Pembo, Boa Morte
    Cole, McBride

A preview of tomorrow's match from Skysports.com. They are predicting a 2-2 final. More interesting than that is the fact that they are reporting that Crossley might start tomorrow over Eddy Van Der Sar. Very interesting. I would feel more confortable with Eddy in the net, but after Crossley's performance midweek in the Carling Cup, maybe he does deserve a shot. Thoughts?

Crossley's one good game does name make him our savior or our starting keeper...

VDS is an great international keeper who has earned the right to play every game solely based on his past performances for Fulham.

I am of the belief that one performance does not make or break a goalie. I think Eddy should be in the net. I am a little more relieved to know that Crossley could do an admirable job if Eddy ever got hurt or decided to leave, but I do not think Crossley should play tomorrow. Eddy all the way.

I would like Cole and John to start. Im not a big fan of Mcbride he is a good forward but, Mcbride just isnt better than John and John needs to get starting time.John dosent even start in the Carling Cup why not? Boa Morte played as a forward last week and it was obvious that didnt work so John should start a couple of matches if he has a couple a bad games then dont start but, if he does well then him and Cole should start. John has been doing very well with Netherlands U-21. Crossley might get the start. VDS hasnt done all that well this year you can blame the defense but, some of those goals he could of stopped. It dosent help to have the 2nd worst defense in the Premiership but, maybe Crossley should start this match.

It looks as though Claus Jensen did sustain a hamstring injury in the Birmingham match on Wednesday. They are waiting to get a scan back. It looks like he will be out of action for at least a week or two. Here is the injury report:

I agree totally. McBride is good as a 2nd half sub. John needs more playing time to get his bearings. He has too much raw talent to be spending most of the game on the bench. He'll make some mistakes and have some bad games but so what - he's clearly the future.

and also, Edwin Van Der Sar is out for tomorrow's match. He was in the gym working out and he tweaked his back. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge......it looks like Crossley is in with 20 year old Ross Flitney backing him up. I hope Eddy returns soon.

Hopefully silence...that would be the preferred treatment. I'll stop there...or else this post will wind me up.

Mike, my team sucks this year. Every move I make is the wrong one. I dropped Hasselbaink and that same week he had a hat trick. I dropped a few other guys and every time I drop someone he plays great that next week.

TOM, MINE SUCKS MORE...I'M BELOW YOU IN THE TABLE...I should just pick all chelsea players because when I pick a player they either get hurt or just suck. If I do, then chelsea will drop in the table very fast in real life!!

I'm wondering the same thing. Not being English I don't know how the crowd will react. But being American I would boo his ass.

Cookie has a point about wanting no crowd reaction to him. D@vis plays with lots of emotion, and a big crowd reaction just might get him psyched for the game.

But, still, I just couldn't stop from booing. And, I'm pretty sure my computer monitor will be hearing just how I feel when he's introduced tommorrow.

My advice would be for anyone who has Jermaine Defoe put him in the starting lineup for the fantasy team tomorrow. If anyone has Cisse or Baros play them too because LFC play Blackburn. Is Flintney any good? Flintney was on the bench for Birmingham. Our defense was horrible against Birmingham and Crossley had to stop everything now when Freidel stopped everything against Man Utd didnt he play Arsenal next and Arsenal scored 3 goals Blackburn and Fulham have almost the same defense they both suck.Fulham really really need to buy a defender in January. They need to spend alot of money on defenders in January. They need someone like Ledley King.

Right now I have Steed and Volz and they both stink. They get me little to no points on a consistent basis, but I am too proud to dump them. Volz almost got the hook today, but one of my other defenders is hurt, so Volz had to play. Maybe from now on I will pick up the opposing teams best player and he will stink against Fulham.

I do have Defoe and I am playing him. Thus, he will do bad for Tottenham which is good for Fulham.
I agree we need to buy a defender, but there is no way we will get Ledley King. He will cost way too much and I am guessing he would not even want to come here.
I do not know much about Flitney. I hope he is sufficient.
The defense against Birmingham was not terrible. They bent, but they did not break. Anytime you have a clean sheet your defense is not terrible. Now they were not perfect, but the clean sheet is something to build on.
