Ground game, campaign financing, endorsements, and conventions were useless. Well, at least Citizen United is no big deal.

 

Jay-Z, Beyonce, The Boss Vs Chachi, Billy Baldwin and Ted Nugent.

Christ, celebrities don't really help matters. Bruce is batting like 1 for 3 in candidates he's supported.

 

4 sure, you do not need money, people made too much of a deal about citizens united.

 

Many of you bashed Bernie supporters in the primary and smuggly thought Clinton would easily beat Trump. Sanders wouldn't have lost Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Bernie would have beaten Trump. You all backed an unlikable loser and now you have to deal with Trump for the foreseeable future.

 

Why do feel shitty? You can now legally get as baked as you want!

Sorry, but after the GOP went full into "Sanders is a Socialist," the same xenophobia that put Trump over the top in PA would've done Bernie in as well.

I lost the post in the Hillary thread, but yeah told you so. Polls were bogus, and Clinton totally f'd up the bernie vote lol. Wikileaks made sure of that.

Doesn't change much. Dems couldn't override a veto on most issues - couldn't hold all of their members together. Deadlock before election and deadlock after election. Madigan will be encouraged that the Rauner appointed comptroller was defeated in the only statewide state government race.
