17 year old Havertz 19 year old Henrichs 20 year old Brandt 21 year old Tah -- damn exciting Leverkusen
Pretty crazy to imagine if they kept Öztunali as well who is also only 20 years old and has a bright future ahead. He would have further boosted their depth.
http://tv.dfb.de/livestream/a-junio...dwest-vfb-stuttgart-fc-bayern-muenchen/16052/ Today tv.dfb.de had a livestream for the match between Stuttgart U19's and Bayern u19's. Damn, we missed it !! Spanoudakis grabbed the winner in the last minute. Stefandl bagged a brace against his former club. For Bayern, Manuel Wintzheimer (one of Kirsten's favorite strikers) and Tillmann scored the goals. Werder Bremen U17s kept a clean sheet against a Leipzig team consisting of big talents like Majetschak, Kühn, Abouchabaka, Krauß, Hartmann and Ludewig. They won 1 nil. Impressive feat. Dadashov didn't score once again as Leipzig U19s drew 2-2 with Bremen U19s. Melvin Krol played 82 minutes which is a positive considering the lengthy injury layoff.
We're the real deal. I hope several talents can emerge from this U17 group. High hopes for Jean-Manuel Mbom specifically.
Benjamin Goller from Schalke U19 continues to be a surprise. Bags a brace vs RW Essen U19 to move his goal tally up to 8 along with 7 assists in 11 games this season. Florian Krüger adds another. #U19-Heimsieg gegen #RWE 🔵⚪️🙌#schmiede #s04 pic.twitter.com/Nlp3YG2aNi— Knappenschmiede (@knappenschmiede) November 5, 2016
http://www.weser-kurier.de/werder/w...-deswegen-nicht-gefrustet“-_arid,1489460.html Johannes Eggestein said he isn't frustrated about his situation in Werder Bremen .....YET I'm slightly surprised about his usage actually. So talented and highly rated. Yes he is just 18, but it's about time to make an appearance in the 1BL Even Manneh and Niklas Schmidt are ahead of him in the pecking order By the way, just curious, is Manneh eligible to play for Germany?
Not everyone has to be a Werner, Meyer, or Halvertz. There are talented, highly-rated players that don't have to debut at 18 years old.
I wouldn't even say Werner benefited much from playing that young. He struggled for years. This current season at RB seems to be his possible best yet. Eggestein seems better off taking his time and develop his game. Also Bremen league wise is not a good position so playing noobs might not be ideal, whereas the others started in teams that did better at the time.
From the interview, Eggestein understands where he's at in terms of development. Building strength/muscle and physical robustness are aspects where he wants to work on. Especially when looking towards playing against adult professionals. He's at a stage where regular 3.Liga competition can still be beneficial to him. And he understands that the jump already between that level and U19 (where he's still technically eligible for) is quite noticeable and offers a relative amount of challenge.
Felix Uduokhai scored just before HT, as 1860 Munich take the 2-1 lead vs Sandhausen. Florian Neuhaus in the starting XI again.
Tough test for Mainz as they look to bounce back against an in-form RB Leipzig squad. Serdar vs Werner from the outset. Öztunali and Selke on the bench. Hmm, I guess that was debatable. But Werner could have been awarded penalty there for being shoved in the box.
2-0 now, Werner running riot today. Great sprint up the flank and delivers an assist this time to Forsberg in the center.
Another incisive pass by Werner in the box. His teammate should have done better there and converted.
