Maybe he'll try Schuerrle up top in the future

Schuerrle is faster than Mueller n Goetze, good off the ball , can be useful in counter situation n does a lot of pressing up front

Not to mention he has a decent size for the position. Can definitely be a short-term solution in the near future

I think Uth and Hahn missed the chance of making the team

Please give me some comment on this roster

    GK) Neuer, Horn, Leno

DF) Weiser, Henrichs, Mustafi, Sule, Boateng, Hummel, Hector, Plattenhardt

MF) Gundogan, Kroos, Weigl, Khedira, Kimmich, Draxler, Schuerrle, Mueller, Oezil, Gnabry, Reus

    FW) M.Gomez, Hahn

    ---------------------------Neuer
    ----Weiser----Boateng---Hummels---Hector
    --------------------------Kimmich
    -----Mueller----------Kroos------------Reus/Draxler
    -------------------Oezil----Schuerrle

Schuerrle is very good off the ball, fast and can be useful in counter situation, has decent finishing, does a lot of pressing up front and has good size for the position

Oezil is pretty much playing trequartista this season for Arsenal, and looking very good for that role . More like a double striker formation

    ------Reus----Muller----Ozil---
    ------Kroos-------Gundogan---
    ----------Khedira(Weigl)-------
    -Hector-Hummels-Boateng-Kimmich-
    -------------Neuer----------------

The strongest XI in my opinion

I agree, but would be surprised if Reus and Gundogan are ever healthy at the same time.

I'm not convinced that Kimmich's best position is at RB, the way he keeps scoring from midfield for Bayern makes me want to see him play there for the NT too. I would rather see a player playing regularly at RB for his club play there for the NT.

Yeah. His chemistry with Hummels is already well established at both the NT and Bayern. He doesn't need to stick around for those games. Trying out other defenders like Mustafi or Sülè isn't a bad idea in the meantime.

Sule wasn't chosen for the team.
    the defenders are
    -Hummels
    -Tah
    -Howedes
    -Hector
    -Mustafi
    -Rudy
    -Kimmich
    -Henrichs
    -Gerhardt

that's 9 other defenders and Low already picked a 25 man team, so Boateng being out reduces the squad to 24, so he isn't going to chose another player.

I think it's important to give other players a chance as the more experienced the back up the better. In case of injuries or suspension, like missing Hummels vs France in Euro 16 because of suspension. So I agree give Tah/Mustafi a chance and let them gain experience.

The kit looks really sharp. Not so sure about Götze being on this promo until he improves his form tho. ;)

    because
Die Mannschaft will wear their new home kit for the first time in the World Cup qualifier against San Marino on the 11th November.

so they will wear this Friday for the WC qualifier. It's for the WC qualifiers home game and the Confederations Cup.

It's not his best position for sure. The kid is a midfielder by trade, but his versatility saw him fill in at CB and RB for Bayern and RB for Germany.

Toni Kroos joins Boateng and is out of the 2 International Matches.
    http://www.dfb.de/en/news/detail/kroos-withdraws-from-squad-due-to-injury-157418/

which takes the initial 25 man team down to the usual 23.

I'm fine with this, since we are playing San Marino, one of the worst teams in Europe. This will be a perfect chance to give some kids time to play.

    so from the usual formation,
    the Boateng spot is open
    the Ozil spot is open
    the Kroos spot is open

who do you guys think will play in those 3 slots?

I think this will be the lineup

    ----------------------Neuer
    --Henrichs--Mustafi--Hummels--Hector
    ---------------Gundogan--Weigl
    ----Brandt---------Mueller--------Gnabry
    ----------------------Goetze

I'm hoping to see Goretzka get a start.
also would rather see Gomez get a start over Gotze.

Gundogan is going to fill Ozil's spot. Weigl is going to fill Kroos's spot. Actually, I think both Gundogan and Kroos are indispensable if Germany wants to play possession-oriented football.

Mustafi will likely fill Boateng's spot.

Why would he? One game at Werder does not a CF make.

I don't think he will, Low is the type of guy that doesn't change much, the CF spot is most likely between Muller, Gomez and Gotze.

Gnabry is more likely to play in that Ozil/Draxler spot, same spot he played in the Olympics. And neither Draxler nor Ozil is on the team which opens that spot up.
