Yeah I'm hoping a bar will hook me up after my appointment. I can't imagine there being too much sports traffic on a Wednesday night. The Wild maybe...
There won't be any english language audio on SAP, the english language rights are owned by ESPN and FOX for the playoffs.
The Extratime Radio folks seem to think that even robo-Alberg and Blake going 2000-Meola wouldn't be enough for us (while someone like Piatti going at an all time best could see Montreal through the playoffs). I don't necessarily disagree. If we win it will have to be such an ugly, Philly Tough™ cliché win that we'll never hear the end of it.
It is going to be so hilarious if we win. Noone thinks we will, but soccer is the most ridiculous game sometimes. It's not like we're playing Real Madrid here...
That's what is great about being a fan. I have been so disappointed and down on this team over the stretch, but damned if I'm not excited for tomorrow and have been on edge since yesterday. It is true that the post-season is a strange season. Pick this time to go on a run and you end up with a Cup, regardless of how you got in.
Yeah, for the past few weeks I have been so discouraged about the 'state of the Union' - just so much negativity on so many levels. But I have butterflies already, I can't wait!
I know the union will win just so they can schedule the next match for sunday night during the eagles/cowboys
I haven't ventured out to watch a match since I'm usually herding kids at home. There's a BBQ place in H-Burg that's soccer friendly, but more EPL friendly than anything, Momo's I think? I'd offer a spot in the playroom (Home theater chairs and HD projector on a 120" screen) but then again, herding kids :/
The only thing I'm looking forward to is some sort of mind-blowing "what's Stefani Miglioranzi doing there" Union playoff lineup to distract me from what is (probably) going to be a very looooong night.
