I was just wondering how many people who follow the team closely have either joined the Inferno or bought season ticket seats. I know GE wants to sell 10K season ticket seats and was wondering how many of the prime demographic have bought them. The Inferno poll was to just get the name out there and help in the recruiting process.
Me member... as for "how many of the prime demographic have bought them." hmmmm. Do you mean the Big Soccer family? There are prime demographic units that choose not to be part of the Big Soccer family.
No. The decision to put the Inferno behind the goal and separate the passion they bring to a crowd - is a microcosm of the dividing effects HSG has caused. Even if it was the Inferno's choice of where to go, it still supports division and not unity.
what dividing effect? Members of the inferno have to sit together and sitting behind the goal is something that I think most members agree with. Unless you would rather see them spread throughout the stadium. Future member here. That's right, you've been warned.
Welcome in advance. Fyi we will be having a big Inferno party/AGM probably early in the new year which all members are invited too & in which we hope to do things like finalise membership details, arrange the St. Pats' parade & talk about any new ideas folk have.
Glad to hear it and membership does have it's privileges. Can anyone say, "TAILGATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
For those of you that are interested in joining the Inferno, Jonno is the man to talk to. I don't know how to hyperlink the site but check out www.the-inferno.net/ for the official website.
But I wish you would stop kicking me at the watching parties! I am a hemophiliac which means those kicks can be quite deadly.
I'd love to see the day when the Inferno can sport a firm of 1000 nutters and take over an entire section behind the goal. But for now, work on the 300 mark.
I stood with them at most of the games enough to be a member but I don't think I'm going to join officially because I hate the behind the goal crap. Southlake all over again, count me out. I know I know, you think it's going to be better, but I don't think so, we'll see who's right soon enough. But otherwise I'd love to join, just don't expect to see me standing with ya'll next year
First year member from Austin. We (me, Northside and italchacao) need to get together for a carpool to Frisco next season if possible.
Don't let where you sit deter you from joining the Inferno. Sure we'd love to have everyone in the same spot but it's not a requirement. The requirement is dedication to support the team on gameday in as loud & colorful way as is possible for you.
haha thanks, I think so too , yea I guess I should join then, not like the money isn't going to a worthy cause.
