St. Etienne got a good road draw at Mainz. I know Mainz arent a German power but they did finish high last year.

Hopefully they keep this up, I wanted them and will be rooting for them to win the domestic Ligue 1 title this season.

Nice up 2-0 on Monaco. Of course Balotelli's goal was caused by a great service from Belhanda, the most important offensive player on the team. He served him up a very nice ball.

    Surprise yesterday huh?

Doubt Toulouse can keep this up all year, PSG are ripe for the picking now as they try and find their way. When Cavani is on hard to see them losing but when he can't finish, this team struggles

Ben Yedder doing great for Sevilla. OL should have sold Lacazette instead of Umtiti and signed Ben Yedder but hey just my opinion.

Ok I hate watching games with British announcers for reasons Ive already stated and one of them said this summer Valbuena stayed at Lyon despite interest from Premier League clubs. I laughed my butt off. I read nothing this summer about any serious interest for Valbuena in England and if there was, Aulas would have drove him to the stadium himself. No wonder why I hate those jokers.

^ Yup, however his second yellow card was not warrant tough, the referee should have just given a warning, talked to Balotelli and not booked him. It surely did not warrant a booking as Balotelli was already booked, the yellow card was too harsh decision for me.

The first yellow was valid as his fault for his silly action, you really can't do that anywhere in a football match.

Suck that he will now missed the clash next game against Lyon.

I read that the red card may be rescinded because the referee said that he "made a mistake". I'm guessing that mistake was taking Balotelli out of a potentially entertaining matchup for television.

Look like the second yellow card has been rescinded, meaning that Mario will now be able to play in the next league match. This just make the match between Nice and Lyon on Oct 14th become much more interesting. :)
